I fail to see why the Israel issue is such a sticking point for Christians. I say we look at the Jews themselves to see if Israel is really a worth while venture, let alone worth so much death and violence.
Do the majority of the worldās Jews live in Israel?
No, they donāt.
Does a signficiant minority of Jews live in Israel?
No, Israel represents a fairly small part of the worldās Jewish popualtion.
Are many Jews flocking to move to Israel?
Quite the opposite, 10 Jews leave Israel for every one that moves in. Obviously Jews feel quite safe in the west. When combine with the fact that Israel has no real industry or resources there is little, if anything, to draw Jews there.
If we look at the modern state of Israelās forefathers we see nothing but secular Zionists. Men like Mecham Bergan, whoās terrorist gang saw absolutely no moral problems with cooperating with Adolf Hitler. Hereās the bottom line, the Jews (forced or otherwise) abandoned that chunk of real estate almost 2,000 years ago. It exists solely because several western powers decided they had some guilt in the holocaust, making Adolf Hitler the founder of Israel. Not exactly a promising start for a nation. The state of Israel has engaged in violence, that while more techincally advanced, is no different from what Muslim terrorists have done. Enforce an ethnic apartheid, do nothing to check the rampant human trafficking, among other human rights abuses. The reason is simple, Zionism is Nazism for Jews, itās every bit as ugly as Islam in its most extreme forms.
