How could the universe and life come into existence without God? How could life evolve without God?

The creation of the universe is history and we cannot change history.

Where is the science to show how the universe and life came into existence without God?

For the purpose of this thread, can we define God as the creator of all that is seen and unseen.
RE: UNIVERSE and LIFE - Two Topics

Science aka Man has manufactured plenty of theories of how either one emerged
  • and thus far - has been totally stumped.

After 246 replies on this thread, I agree with you.

Freddy:
…do you know what was on the other side of the big bang?
Yes. It was silent. Just one of the many conditions that are not caused.
You should write a paper. It will definitely get published because nobody else has that information. Could you mention my name in there somewhere?

Then why do you involve science in the discusion?
In response to your post.
There is no scientific theory yet for this.
Science, previously called the philosophy of nature, is but one subset of the several areas of philosophical inquiry.

The philosophy of nature is founded on metaphysics. So the empirical sciences have metaphysical underpinnings. Unfortunately, on the side of some scientists, there is a psychological refusal to accept that science is at its foundation really a philosophical theory.

Because everybody else has the information that silence began with the big bang and a lot of papers written about it. The papers describe how silence appeared before which there was a lot of sound; sound from material vibrations.

The academic papers can speculate on the initial sound as they like but I read in Genesis that the first sound was the voice of the Almighty: “Let there be light and there was light.”

Christianity is built on miracles. The first recorded miracle was “Creation ex nihilo”. God spoke and created the universe from nothing.

A central miracle was the Resurrection. Jesus Christ came forth from the dead to live forever.

I look at it differently. God creates by becoming the creation but through the mind of a man in a spiritual sense. This means that it is man who causes the universe but God caused the universe in the man - very tricky but it is what it is.

Earth to Fred, earth to Fred. Reality check. Come in please.

Even futilely attempting to prove what is impossible for them to prove.

God creates
That is all we need to know, the how it was created is for our scientists to discover.

However, the purpose of this thread was to ask how could the universe and life start without God? Where is the science? A number of people have said we don’t know, and I think that is the truthful answer.

Can I ask the last question in this thread, "how could life evolve naturally and without any help from God? In particular the eye and the skeletal system.

The Creator is needed for symmetry so that left half developed like right half. The Creator is needed for reproduction so that male developed at the same time as female. The Creator is needed for existence so that there’s something rather than nothing.

Erm… But He obviously forgot jellyfish, which are radially symmetric.
No, there’s no need to indict the Creator like that. Jellyfish are beautiful as is seen consistently across creation. Jellyfish are beautiful as is the Creator and show the Creator’s creativity.

Other plants, animals, landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes are also beautiful and also show the Creator’s creativity.

Ladies and gentlemen, the sound you can hear in the background is the goalposts shifting. First bilateral symmetry proves the creator exists. Then non-bilateral symmetry proves the creator exists. That is contradictory.

Alternatively, neither is a proof of the creator. I’ll go for the second option.
