I understand that some have gifts. We are all unique. Maybe Pop bilocated cause God allowed him to. Does anyone have anymore information? I dont seek after superpowers and gifts. I will accept what ever God gives me.
I do however Lucid Dream. It just happens I didn’t choose to one day I had my first lucid dream and they come quite often. Is there a way God is using me in the ability to lucid dream.

These dreams come uncontrolled. Beware of the new age idea of Lucid dreaming. Astral projection is not real but bilocation is. Please do not dabble in the occult.

Lucid Dream doesnt have to associated with the occult. It comes naturally. Blessings.

Quantum mechanics explicitly permits polylocation, even of macroscopic objects. Spontaneous polylocation of macroscopic objects is vanishingly improbable, but God did design the universe to permit it.

Macroscopic objects? Really? I know quantum mechanics allows for subatomic particles to bi-locate, but what study shows macroscopic objects can bi-locate without supernature help?

Your post has peaked my scientific interest…

It’s mathematics. The larger the separation of the bilocating object compared to the object’s wavelength, the smaller the probability, but the probability never drops to zero.

I’ll take your word for it. I skated through undergraduate school with as little math as possible, a failing that is entirely a testament to my laziness at the time.

It was a miracle. No need to try and explain it.

"Pop"?

What the cat hair? 🤔

And the more specific a position becomes the less specific the momentum becomes. So this does not at all jive with the claims made regarding bilocation of persons.

I haven’t yet read that Padre Pio bilocation occured during sleep. It seems that he was involved in other tasks such as singing in a choir or in prayer.

@convertingtocatholic you may find this information interesting from EWTN

I would say that lucid dreaming is spiritually unhealthy . I practised it a lot because i wanted control of things i could not do in reality . Best to seek repentance.

I’d imagine it was because God thought of him in two places at once instead of thinking of him in one place in order for him to ‘be’ . To me the more interesting question is whether he was ‘aware’ in both places or in one and if his experience of both awarenesses, if he perceived them both were felt simultaneously. As for the science of it… yep I take your word on it.

Apparently he was adamant that those who bilocated were quite aware of what was happening in both places at once.

Is there any evidence of this bilocation?
There’s a great deal of eyewitness testimony from those who experienced him doing it.

It’s not unheard of among Catholic mystic saints - it didn’t start with Padre Pio.

Having said that, it’s not something we should be focusing on. It’s simply a charism he had, which God gave him to use for God’s purposes. We should be more interested in and focused on the fact that Padre Pio lived a very holy life. People always get so hung up on phenomena like tongues or bilocation.

He bilocated because God granted him this gift.

Let us not try to pry into the veil of mystery that conceals the intimate relationship between the Holy Trinity and the soul of a saint.

Repentance should be foremost among our attentions.

Gifts, as glorious as they are, are nothing if we do not have self-sacrificial love, to paraphrase St. Paul.

From one lucid dreamer to another, this practice can be spiritually very dangerous. Best to focus on prayer and penance, and not to delve into the spiritual world in such a way.

Peace be to all.

Pio Of Pietrelcina
OK, that makes sense. I understand that he was a man of great cheerfulness and good humor (unless it came to issues of immodestly dressed women or unrepentant sinners), and I can’t think that he would be disturbed by being called “Pop”, if he had known that this is an affectionate English word for father or grandfather.

He was, indeed, our “spiritual Pop”.

I had read that he denied bilocation. Do we know for sure if that is something he claimed, or was it only something others said about him?

The dreams come to me naturaly. They happen without me doing anything.

The lucid dreams I have happen about all the time I dont do anything to make them happen. They just come alot.
