HOW did Satan and his demons fall when they were angels?

How do you explain the gospel accounts recording devils claiming Jesus to be the Son of God and Jesus sending demons (fallen angels) into swine? Were not these gospel accounts recorded and experienced in space and time?
 
No that is not what Time is. Time is a Dimension same as the other 3 dimensions length, width, height.
In Mathematics these Dimensions are represented by X, Y, Z and T
The Angels do not experience time because they do not live in our Universe. Time was created at the same time the Universe was created.

Forgive me JerryZ, but I think your trying to fit a square into a circle here from a mathematical equation.
When we speak of divine or eternal things, We speak of their Presence not existence within the confines of space and time. These things are not a mathematical equation that can be summed up. The best man can do to give God a mathematical numeral is One. We do not speak of the divine things as if we pretend we understand fully like a mathematical equation. The best we can do when speaking of the eternal, divine things is summed up in mystery.
In summary when ever an angel appears, we are given a divine image or what the Church defines as apparition and that image is a Presence not a defined being that can be measured against space and time. Try to apply a mathematical equation to a miracle experienced in space and time? Eternal Presence manifested in space and time plus faith supersedes all carnal understanding and knowledge.

The office of an Angel is Messenger. Angel’s don’t decide for our humanity, or while visiting in space and time, Angels are sent. An Angel is a Spirit. When an Angel appears in space and time, we do not see an Angel’s true being which is Spirit, we are blessed with an Apparition. Time and Space cannot coexist with eternity. Thus God’s Presence can enter space and time as well as God’s messengers, but their eternal being’s are not manifested with the confines of space and time or visitation.
Wisdom is called for here from Sacred Scripture;
1Cor.2: 1-11…no one knows what pertains to God except the Spirit of God 12 We have not received the Spirit of the World but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the things given us freely by God 13 and we speak about them not with words taught by Human Wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, describing Spiritual Realities in Spiritual Terms.14 Now the natural person does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it, because it is judged Spiritually 15 The Spiritual person however, can judge everything, but is not subject to judgment by anyone 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord as to counsel Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

No actually that is incorrect.
Time is a Dimension that was created at the same “time” (pun intended) the Universe was.
Before that Time did not exist.

And this is a Physical and Mathematical certainty (Science in other words)

What is said relates to 1Cor.2:11-16. As said in 1Cor. explains why to the natural person is seems foolishness. The scriptures are telling before your eyes. Please read the scripture in it’s entirety.

They do not experience the physical dimension of time as we understand it. However, we believe that the angels, as well as those souls who have passed into Heaven or Hell, experience some other kind of categorization which is not unlike time, but which we don’t really understand at this point. They are not within time because they are not within space/time, but they all experience a sort of progression from before to after. God alone experiences everything as an eternal NOW.

This is supported by what we see in Revelation, with the angels and souls of the elect waiting for the second coming of Christ. If there was no “time” there could be no waiting.

Sadly when discussing matters of the afterlife and non-physical existence, all we have are analogous conjectures. We won’t really understand it until we get there. As such, we can never adequately describe what is experienced by the angels, and all analogy will be lacking in one way or another.

No, it isn’t. Time is a physical dimension. We describe it as progression from before to after because that is how we experience it, but that progression itself is not the definition of time. It is possible for other modes of progression to exist without being the physical dimension of “time.”

Space and time does not require faith nor are we called to it. Angels, apparitions, miracles, God’s Presence in the Trinity of Persons calls us to faith. Faith is the mystical substance of discussion. Satan and his demons fell because they refused faith in God’s divine Revelation. That decision made by the fallen Angels was made outside of space and time, thus Satan and the fallen Angels have no recourse to heaven, their decision was made eternally.
