We got glasses for my daughter at age 5 when she couldn’t see the movie we were watching from the top of our bed and kept going closer and closer. My husband then turned on the captions and got her close to the tv and had her step back until she couldn’t see the letters. It didn’t take long. She’s now 8 and has had 7 perscriptions, each getting worse. And we found pink frames with a hint of sparkle at EyeMasters.
My husband was 13 and couldn’t see the board.
I was 27 and made a comment to my husband about words always being kind of fuzzy when you read, like that was normal. Turns out letters aren’t all fuzzy in books and I am far-sighted.
