…His lust was beyond the pale.
Prophet Muhammed (p) was given choices to ask for anything : money , power , women etc. His reply was : O my uncle, if they placed the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand to cause me to renounce my task, verily I would not desist therefrom until Allah made manifest His cause or I perished in the attempt."

An ex Christian is trying to tell you about the life of the last Prophet (p) . U may watch him here .

Yes and i can find loads of ex Muslims who finally found Jesus and got out of their brainwashed ways.

I personally would rather know Gods real Son, Jesus, thats all i need to know, no false prophets thanks

There is more - how do you justify this in your minds?
As a Muslim mind its justifiable because we believe Allah allowed it, so its unquestionable.

As a logical mind, its not justifiable because it contradict the previous Scriptures.

And you did not answer the question at all.

Kindly quote from Quran; please quote a verse with five verses preceding and five following for the usual context.
What is this, some kind of a joke? How is quoting the Quran going to answer the question, “How do Muslims rationalize the actions of Muhammad?” The answer couldn’t possibly be there. You would have to quote Muslims themselves because it is their reasoning that is being asked for.

Even if we were to look at the Quran, we have “Sister Amy’s” assertion to deal with: “the Quran is not subject to human ‘interpretation’.” So how could any of its verses be put into any kind of “context”?

Besides, what makes five the magic number? Why not four or six, three or seven, or even 99?

The only thing that I agree with you about your post is that everyone should know this mohammed. His behavior was beyond the pale. And for you to justify his poor behavior shows me that you will justify anything. 🤷 But, we should know him so we know what his followers are capable of doing in the name of a ‘religion’. And that means they will do anything - and they have showed us that they will do anything.

And ‘democracy’ is not a religion. it is a form of government - one that doesn’t have human rights violations in the name of a religion - islam. Under a democracy - and in our case, a Republic - even islam is allowed. Under our form of government we treat crimes such as beating women, rape, honor killings, etc as crimes and treat the perpetrators as criminals if found guilty. Under your sharia law governments - they do not. So, be careful what you ask for in the countries that muslims are migrating to - they might get it. And then you condemn your children to islam and all its atrocities - pediphilia, rape, beatings, killing themselves for god - but you don’t mind that since they will name you as one of the saved and I guess that is a reason to celebrate.

I guess if a muslimette can’t make it to heaven on their own accord - send out their kids to blow themselves up!

I suppose whatever evil Mohammad did, there is always justification for it. In other word, what he did was always right, not matter how immoral or evil it looks to you and I but to the Muslims they were always right, virtuous and self-sacrificing.

He married a very desirable young housewife - but then he was forced to do it. As Mohammad was such obedient Allah’s messenger, well, he simply did it out of obedience because to obey Allah meant getting great reward.

One would think Muslims do make great lawyers (I am not disparaging the legal profession) but the way they turn evil and immorality into virtue surely counts them as some of the best. If one wants to find some of the best excuses recorded in history well just peep into the Quran. Caution: if Christians can stomach it.

Muslims justify Mohammed’s evil deeds - not saying he didn’t do good deeds - either by threatening or suing (the legal method), by ignoring the issue hoping it will go away (the ignorant method), by reminding us of the “faults” and “fallings” and “evil deeds” of God and of His Church (the comparative methoid), and by using fallacies in arguments (the fallacious method).

This is some twisted logic.

This doesn’t bode well if they keep up this attitude that evil is really good if Muhammad did it.

I don’t know how they could take this religion and make it better with Muhammad as its prophet and the Quran as its book.

The difference between how we see Muhammad and how his followers see him is this : we assess his actions objectively because we are not obliged and do not believe he is a prophet so his actions are more than clear to us, take the example of a man marrying the ex-wife of whom he considered a son, by claiming that God Himself told him not to conceal his desire for a married woman, and hence a pronto revelation to make it ok by giving the lamest excuse that it is to “teach” his followers by example. Since we are not obliged to believe Muhammad is a prophet, it doesn’t take us a minute of thinking to assess what he did but it takes Muslims mental gymnastics to defend what is more than clear to any objective person.

There is more - how do you justify this in your minds?
Very simply, the hadiths you quote are fabrications and the verses of Quran are taken out of context.

the justification is that the khaliphs and rules who assumed power after the prophet paid for and collected fabricated hadiths against the prophet to make their kingdom strong, away from any opposition and slandered his character by attributing to him foul actions out of spite.

Now to the verses you quoted out of context

Quran 9:3 “…Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans…”
Quran 9:4 “Except those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement, then they have not failed you in anything and have not backed up any one against you, so fulfill their agreement to the end of their term; surely Allah loves those who are careful (of their duty).

The justification is self explanatory, Allah and the Holy Prophet have severed all connections with the polytheists who had deliberately and persistently violated the pledges and acted treacherously.

here’s an example to drive the point home, let’s say two countries entered into a trade agreement and one of the countries attacked the other, do you think the country under attack will honor any trade agreement with the aggressive country?

going back to the fabricated hadiths, We always use the Quran as the standard by which we measure hadiths. That is because we believe the Quran is infallible whereas the hadiths are not. Therefore any hadith that contradicts any verse of the Quran is unceremoniously rejected.

torturing a man by plucking his eyes out and killing a breastfeeding woman and her baby are barbaric and immoral.

But Allah in the Quran praises the Prophet with having a high standard of morality and character “quran 68:4 - And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character/morality”.

these actions attributed to the prophet don’t live up to the high character of our prophet.

Another measure by which we judge a hadith false is the narrator’s allegiance to the children of Muhammad (pbuh).

Before the prophet died, some Muslims asked what he wanted as a reward for taking them out of the darkness of polytheism and into the light of faith in the one God. His answer was to love his near ones (his family and children)

Quran (42:23) “Say [O Muhammad]: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for the kinsfolk”, yet 6 months after he passed away, those who claimed to be Muslims killed his 18 year old daughter, then killed his nephew, then poisoned his first grandson, then killed and decapitated and paraded the head of his 2nd grandson from city to city. Even the 6 month old great grandson of Muhammad wasn’t spared, they killed him too, and paraded his head on a spear.

Even if I weren’t Muslim, whether christian, bhudist, hindu, or athiest. I would not under any moral standard accept the testimony of anyone who committed or condoned those acts.

And that’s what you find, when looking into the narrators of these hadiths, They were open enemies to the children of Muhammad.

Those Muslims you see today who terrorize, intimidate, and destroy everything in their paths are descendants of the wolves and carnivorous jungle animals who killed the progeny of Muhammad (pbuh&hf)

None of the accepted translations say what you have as the surahs for 9:3 and 9:4. I guess this is your new koran for us infidels?

too late - I already downloaded Pickthall, alhilali khan, yusuf ali, and malik’s versions which are the accepted translations - the translations the muslims have. Not your version that you are trying to push off as authentic.

I also know about hudna - no treaty can last longer than 10 years and can be broken as soon as muslims are rearmed/regrouped.

So, that is in step with what 9:3-4 say.

The one who acted aggressively and treacherously was mohammed who waged offensive wars against people he knew were poorly armed, in caravans that had women and children that were not heavily armed, and cities that were not known for their armies but for trade and crops.

He at least two that we know of assasinated, he lusted after another man’s wife and ended out getting her because he said Allah said it was ok, and had a man tortured to get the rest of his loot, and waged so many offensive wars and raids that no one has an exact count except that they know it was well over 50. He would raid for loot and slaves.

You can try to rewrite history, but it won’t fly here.

These so called ‘open enemies’ were just ones that didn’t want islam and found it false. It is the same today. You are telling me that the hadiths are false while the translations are the accepted translations. And by the way I downloaded the hadiths too even the hadiths that were censored by USC so as to know what the muslims have that we are not supposed to see anymore.

Sorry, more taqiyya/kithman.

I also don’t need a lesson in 7th century politics. psst, we are in the 21st century. Many countries are honoring trade agreements with the likes of Saudi Arabia, as an example - the biggest exporter of jihadists, the biggest funder of jihadist training. Oh, but you don’t look at that as aggression, or war, do you? It is ‘opening up the world to islam’ and your jihadists are just doing a day’s work. ho hum.

:signofcross:

I shall add, when a hadith exposes Muhammad’s “morality”, the Shia reject it as an immoral fabrication by the Sunni, and when the Shia practice what the Sunni call immorality, they reject it as false hadith. Fact is, both Sunni and Shia are of the same age and took their teachings from muhammad but were seperated due to politics and power after Muhamad’s death, yet both accuse each others of immoral teachings and fabricated hadith that does not “fit” the “prophet”. To outsiders, things are clear that what both reject is simply Muhamad’s truth but they reject it because it cannot and must not be true since he is supposed to be the “example” of morality.
