There is no any indication of divinity on Jesus. He lived merely as a human and non of mysterious doctrine and explaining can refute and change that reality. There is no any connection between humanity of Jesus and divinity of God. All statements of Jesus prove that fact. Jesus was human and prophet and all acts and words of Jesus demonstrate that.

It is enough for any one to believe that Jesus was sent by God as Jesus himself conveyed that many times. But it is not necessary to believe that Jesus was God himself which is very adventurous and dangerous and mysteriously and …
Thank you for that, because it shows that there are HUGE differences between the Bible and Quran.

Suffering of prophet is. Aaa! Ofcourse you do not believe that He was a prophet.
Since suffering is the point you are making then this is an admittance by your own words you believe Jesus also suffered. Welcome to the Truth. Alleluia!

Meanwhile, Matthew 26 continues…

Let’s do it. And prove no replacement "theology " took place . Don’t be afraid to see this and learn my friend.🙂

Matthew 26: 39

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”
43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. 44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
45 Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”

47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.”

Do what you came for, friend.”

Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”

I’ll stop here for now. So now… Jesus talks about Fulfilling scripture. 🙂 Amen. Will this be denied too? Be careful in answering.

And that’s where the saying … “Live by the sword, die by the sword” comes from, which all the world knows.

No Jesus was ascended and will be sent back. Amin!
hasantas, Can you explain Luke 24:19-27 …because in the Catechism of the Catholic Church states
106 God inspired the human authors of the sacred books. “To compose the sacred books, God chose certain men who, all the while he employed them in this task, made full use of their own faculties and powers so that, though he acted in them and by them, it was as true authors that they consigned to writing whatever he wanted written, and no more.”

124 "The Word of God, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, is set forth and displays its power in a most wonderful way in the writings of the New Testament"which hand on the ultimate truth of God’s Revelation. Their central object is Jesus Christ, God’s incarnate Son: his acts, teachings, Passion and glorification, and his Church’s beginnings under the Spirit’s guidance.

What is written in scripture? Something about cross?

The details about the way in which Gospels were written is not clear. The texts of Gospels are not directly words of God through Jesus. There are many comments and statements of writers in them.

19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

22 Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;

23 And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.

24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Luke 24.

In above verses there is no any statements by Jesus in which Jesus say I got raised from death. Also angels did not say He raised but angels said He was alive. Someone who looks like Jesus was crucifixed and perhaps nobody had known that he was not Jesus but everybody thought that he was Jesus.

There are some differences but there is no any distinct thought in faith. It is clearly written in Bible that God is one and Jesus is human. HUGE differences are in interpretations.

Don’t you get it… Jesus has to be “only human” for Islam to be true.

What is written in scripture? Something about cross?
First focus on the what has be written. So, after Matthew 26: 38 you said Jesus was replaced. Where? Don’t evade this. Take responsibility of using our Scriptures

Luke 24:36-53 While they were still speaking about this, he stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

But they were startled and terrified and thought that they were seeing a ghost. Then he said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do questions arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.” And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

While they were still incredulous for joy and were amazed, he asked them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of baked fish; he took it and ate it in front of them. He said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and in the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled.”

Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures. And he said to them, “Thus it is written that the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And (behold) I am sending the promise of my Father 12 upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Then he led them (out) as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven. They did him homage and then returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and they were continually in the temple praising God.

Again where is the replacement?

MJ
I did not say it is written in scripture but I said perhaps Jesus had not known that. Jesus prayed God to save Him and maybe God did not inform Jesus about details. Jesus was informed that he would be arrested and adjudged to die. There are somethings which God had not informed and Jesus had not known just a sample:

32 ¶But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mark 13.

Yes I thought but I could not know why. Consequently they intended to kill Jesus and they thought they did!

Their evil intention did. God had destroyed or warn unbelievers/evil acts through many plagues. Jesus was a great prophet and it was the time to take Him into heavens. There should be many vondrous actions and cases during that times.

Your idea on what happen is based on “perhaps” and a “just a sample” ? Not very convincing to me.

So the Impostor was killed and Jesus being taken up into Heaven caused these events to happen ?

So the Impostor was killed and Jesus being taken up into Heaven caused these events to happen ?
This issue is very complex in which people confuse. Jesus said that He will die and will raise alive in Qur’an. But it is not certain the time of death.

33-And peace is on me(Jesus) the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." Maryam(19)

117-“I said nothing to them except that which Thou didst command me — ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’ And I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them, but since Thou didst cause me to die, Thou hast been the Watcher over them; and Thou art Witness over all things. Al-Maidah(5)

But God give the way of reconcile for every one in Qur’an. Otherwise it will take very long without any conclusion.

55-[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. Al-Imran(3)
