How do Muslims (who read the NT) answer Luke 24: 19 -27?

But God give the way of reconcile for every one in Qur’an. Otherwise it will take very long without any conclusion.

55-[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. Al-Imran(3)

Their evil intention did. God had destroyed or warn unbelievers/evil acts through many plagues. Jesus was a great prophet and it was the time to take Him into heavens. There should be many vondrous actions and cases during that times.

But Christians have different thoughts and sects?

I did not say God confuse but the scanty knowledge and comprehension of people cause that. God show and demonstrate the most straight way without mysteries in Qur’an. Mysteries cause many conflicts and difficulties.

You assume your God and mine is different! Is not the creator of universe one?

I can accept Bible as true scripture although which is not directly revelation from God but by interpretations. Even so I can reconcile both Qur’an and Bible because the source of two are revelation. But when I would apply some strained interpretations then it conflict. I can see that Jesus was not crucifixed in Bible too. But Christians follow their fathers’s interpretations and when they conflict with direct revelation of God(Qur’an) then they try to reject it.

Christians have facts and Jews have fact and also Muslims have facts. There should be one fact but there are many different faces of fact. It is wrong to say I am the only right.

Yes. There are seven storey heavens and Jesus is into one of them. Jesus was raised with His physical body but he need not to eat or drink any more. Physical body but angel’s life.

In paradise people would be able to eat and drink and other physical activities but there will not be wast product and that will not be due to requirement but for pleasure.

No. Mary is in Heavens with her soul like other people. But after resurrection she will have a body like all other people. People will be in Paradise or Hell or Purgatory with their bodies.

Luke 24:27
“Then, starting with Moses and going through all the prophets, he explained to them the passages throughout the scriptures that were about himself.”

How can there be different facts on this very clear statement?

Science can explore the first storey which include galaxies and stars. But Paradise or Hell are beyond of universe in another dimension. The transition between dimension can be only by power of God. For instance death is a gate for transition. Islamic moraly high people(Avliya) could explore those storeys through moral discovery which soul can see or feel without body or eyes. Entity is not just consist of that physical universe. Where do angels come from? From other storey. And also ofcourse there are angels in universe too.

What is the context of that passages?
 
it is true that, according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the scribes, the pharisees and the temple priests used romans to put Jesus to death. islam contradicts the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this respect.

it is also true, according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that the scribes, the pharisees and the priests of the temple, denied that Jesus rose on the third day. islam contradicts the Gospel of Jesus Christ and agrees with the jewish leaders by teaching that Jesus did not rise on the third day.

i have no idea what the bahai teach in regards to the above, but the bahai do reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ and instead of believing in it use it to develop a belief system that is different from the Lord’s Gospel. can elements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ be found in the teachings of the bahai? yes, but many other elements of the Gospel of Jesus Christ are not present in the teachings of the bahai.

Two questions here hasantas:
  1. How can a physical body existing in this dimension go on and exist in the “other dimensions”?
  2. Who are the Angels that exist in this universe?

  1. God knows. Angel Gabriel did that journey many times. God can do everything physical and beyond physical. If there had not been another place to be punished or rewarded then there should be no mean in evil and good deeds on this world. Nobody come back on the world after death but they transit into another dimension. That transition is not by physics to explain with physical laws. I think you do nopt believe in beyond of physic. How God had created that world so God can create another world for body in different dimension with different laws. Can you explain the existence of God by physics?
  2. In a Hadiths it is said: The earth is on the shoulder of ox and fish. People who could not understand the meaning of that Hadiths thought that there are very big ox and fish which hold world. But the real meaning is that two assigned angels for earth look like ox and fish. Everywhere is full-up of angels in universe but we cannot see them. The duty of those angels are to be witness of actions of God. Because every act in universe is in order and wisdom and art and beauty and … which demonstrate that all these actions are happened by eternal knowledge, power and will of God. Human cannot see the actions in stars or in forest or in deep of sea but angels can see. So angels allways mention God for majesty. God did not create universe pointless.

I do not know. There have been many case of prophets like Jesus. Many prophets were tortured and being killed and Jesus was informed to be adjudged to die. The passages show that. But Jesus did not know if He would be saved or not but He prayed to be saved.

Islam do not reject that Jesus was put to death but God had saved Him. Bahai is not revelation from God to regard yet it sould be good inspiration.

But the Holy Bible says he was crucified, died, and was buried. Also in full knowledge what his mission was.
