I have…the best “evidnce” we have are second hand accounts, poor youtube footage and blurry pictures.I must disagree. I don’t want to call you ignorant, but if you refuse to research the Eucharistic Miracles I won’t hesitate to say you are.
Also, look at the Miracle of San Genero.
Try to explain all those (start another thread for that if you wish).
But look at those. Surely this is a God.
I, too, have researched and have questions for you. But that would be off topic so if we want to go off on that a wise choice would be starting a new thread.I have…the best “evidnce” we have are second hand accounts, poor youtube footage and blurry pictures.
Even at the Lanciano miracle, the physicians that examined it only stated that yes, it’s blood and flesh…what evidence is there that it actually transformed? 1,200 years of “word of mouth” legends…
That’s why I say in my post “fails to be proven”…the evidence is still at best…nowhere near enough to prove god.
The next one, Question 11 is The Unity of God. The four articles are:So I get the Unmovable Mover argument but couldn’t all the ‘gods’ move simultaneously, thus creating the effect of a single God?
I don’t know I must be losing my faith/mind
As a side note, I still don’t fully see how the Unmovable Mover argument allots for a singular God, but I think I am getting it slowly but surely. Also, I mean no disrespect to the Lord, the One True God. I’ve just hit a rough patch spiritually.![]()
Its been a while since I have gone over this. I will look it over during the next couple of days and try to post something that might help, if I can.ByzCath,
thanks for the links (again). They’re good!
But I tried reading them andit totally went over my head. That may be because I’m still young and I don’t understand everything, especially the things that will help.
so I’m still undecided.![]()

Well actually I had never heard it before and I first thought yeah, this is a neat argument. I still like the line of argument so I guess you have inspired me to look up St. Anselm. Not my argument. It is the Ontological argument of St. Anselm of Canterbury.
Yes, this is one of the arguments against St Anselm’s argument.
But as I said, I like this argument and it works for me.
One would need to read the whole Proslogion of St Anselm to really discuss it in whole and I have not read it in over a year.
If you or anyone else wishes to get into it I suggest that you read it and let me know so I can reread it and we can go from there.
Here is a link to a website that has the Prosologion.Well actually I had never heard it before and I first thought yeah, this is a neat argument. I still like the line of argument so I guess you have inspired me to look up St. Anselm.
