How do we know what parts of the Bible to take literally and figuratively?

If it is blessed, then quite possibly. For me, in general, I hate writing in any book. I’m not really a bookworm, but it irks me when people say I should write that down in my book… I’d rather use a notebook or journal. It irks me when other people do it too, but I can’t help what they do, so I try to ignore it as much as I can.
