I prefer folded hands - not really sure what to make of it as I’m not used to that, and I’m coming from a Lutheran background.Generally speaking what do you think of the following things within the context of the Pauline Mass within the USA?
use of the orans posture by the laity?
Wouldn’t even think of doing that when I was Lutheran, and I wouldn’t think of doing it as a Catholic. We did it once in Sunday School and I thought it just seemed silly.holding hands at the Lord’s Prayer?
I’m fine with it, I guess. Then again, we have a large parish with filled pews, and if you don’t get up, you’ll be trampled upon.processing up for a blessing when unable to receive communion?
I think we use the processional cross with the corpus. So, I’m not sure about this one since I don’t know how widespread it is.processional cross without corpus when used in conjunction with an altar crucifix??
female servers?
female cantors?
I like them - my parish just started using them. I think Sanctus Bells were practical in its’ day when there were no speakers, which meant the parishioners couldn’t hear the priest consecrating the Host.the non-use of sanctus bells?
I don’t like it. Our parish has it up-front-and-center on the high altar.location of the tabernacle outside the sanctuary?
Hate it. It’s too campy, and the guitars are too loud. (They have this during the Folk Mass)liturgical music featuring guitars and a bass?
Nope, I prefer it on the tongue. At my old Lutheran church, it was in the hand, but we had kneelers. At my parish, it can be by tongue (barring a few confused EMHC… but that’s another story), but the kneelers are in the garage - all but 2.communion in hand?
What’s EPs?EPs other than the Roman Canon?
There is no legislation against it. It’s permitted. Hands at the side, or folded, seems more reverent, though.Generally speaking what do you think of the following things within the context of the Pauline Mass within the USA?

I’m not a “grabber” but if someone wants to take my hand, I don’t refuse, usually.holding hands at the Lord’s Prayer?
for little children, non-Catholics, and those out of communion for a long period of time, I think it’s beneficial; if you just forgot to go to Confession, it seems silly.processing up for a blessing when unable to receive communion?
Not my preference; an empty Cross signifies nothing in particular, but a Cross with the Corpus announces what is about to take place on the Altar.processional cross without corpus when used in conjunction with an altar crucifix??
I have no problem with them - a mix of male and female is my preference.female servers?
I like them, too. Again, a mix of males and females is my preference.female cantors?
I prefer that the bells be used, if there is an Altar server available.the non-use of sanctus bells?
Seems pointless, to me; Jesus should be where His people are gathered.location of the tabernacle outside the sanctuary?
As long as it’s not a regular occurence. My personal preference is the human voice, unaccompanied by any form of instruments.liturgical music featuring guitars and a bass?
I follow the general custom of the parish, with this - I prefer communion on the tongue when that’s what the priest is used to doing, but if the priest isn’t used to it, one is likely to get a mouthful of fingers along with the Host.communion in hand?
My fave is EPII - I’m not sure whether that’s the Roman Canon, or not.EPs other than the Roman Canon?
It’s telling me you are banned…Just what do you mean “accurate results?” You cannot say the “data will be skewed the way the poll is set up” because I never defined what I was polling for.
I’ve studied statistics at the graduate level and I would be the first to agree this poll was not scientifically constructed. But given my basic understanding of the folks who frequent these forums, it is beginning to tell me something…
