Always on the tongue. If a priest comes to our side, I kneel (I asked if I could before I did). Otherwise, so as not to upset the EMs, I stand.
Someone else already said that the question was referring to Mass. I’ll answer this anyway. If I were to be in a nursing home, hospital, or some such place at this moment, I’d wait for a priest precisely because I know that a priest friend of mine makes regular hospital visits (a rarity around here, so I hear!). In the event that it’s later on, I’d have to make that choice at the time. On my deathbed? Definitely would have to be a priest because I’d need the last sacraments and no EMHC can give those! So, if you are ever in a hospital or nursing home/rehab center, or home-bound or a shut-in, you won’t receive Communion? Because in the above situations, the person most likely to bring the Eucharist to you is an EMHC. We have less clergy, so the Ordinary Ministers are being stretched to the limit, and often delegate Communion Calls to the EMHC who is able to carry out this ministry.
Really? And, as for posture I was specifically asking about tongue or on the hand, but by leaving Other available I learned that some also receive kneeling, so that is education for me.God bless

Seriously… =/Really?
This is no slight to you AT ALL, my brother/sister.
But I’m thinking that we’ve come a long way, if even ONE Catholic doesn’t know that one can receive kneeling.
