Ha! I did read the whole thread and i can remember words like stubborn and obstinate thrown around along with a whole others I prefer not to name.
As for attacks on the mother of God I did hear someone argue against calling her Spouse of the Holy spirit…
I am not arguing that, I am pointing out that St Joseph was Her betrothed and then Her Spouse.
The Word of God, and the Holy Catholic Church tell me so. I listen to this in Eucharistic Prayer. ( if it’s good enough for God, and His Man on Earth, its great by me)
Yes, Jesus Christ was begotton by the Holy Spirit.
And St Joseph was Mary’s fiancee and then Her Spouse.

Decree
Regarding the Mention of the Divine Name of St. Joseph
in the Eucharistic Prayers II, III, and IV
"The faithful in the Catholic Church have shown continuous devotion to Saint Joseph and have solemnly and constantly honored his memory as the most chaste spouse of the Mother of God and as the heavenly Patron of the universal Church. "
What an amazing man in St Joseph. I do wonder if he had troubles sleeping, 4 angelic visits in slumber.
