Is it simply a product of our brain, or is it something spiritual that comes from afar?
Thoughts can come from God, the Devil, or ourselves. It is virtually impossible to know where a thought comes from, except in certain instances. Is it simply a product of our brain, or is it something spiritual that comes from afar?
I agree, but often a thought will cross by mind that just blows me away. I believe that no way did that thought come from me.Thoughts can come from God, the Devil, or ourselves. It is virtually impossible to know where a thought comes from, except in certain instances.

Sometimes I wonder if our thoughts are actually anchored to our brains, or whether they simply float around it in some way that is unknown. I wonder if sometimes I walk into and pick up thoughts that other people have left behind, because I’ve also had that experience of thoughts that seem to come from nowhere, that are definitely not my thoughts.
That wasn’t the question.Cause always precedes effect. One cannot be conscious of a thought before one thinks it. Therefore, one cannot consciously cause thoughts!
Some we do. I can consciously decide to find the sum, 4 + 8, and in this way I have consciously caused the thought, “twelve.”Cause always precedes effect. One cannot be conscious of a thought before one thinks it. Therefore, one cannot consciously cause thoughts!
