How great is the priest homosexual/pedophile coverup today

*Not so much an unstable condition of the mind as a denial. I think that a lot of homosexual priests enter the priesthood with good intentions but then find out that they can’t overcome temptations. In other words, they entered for the wrong reason. They never really had the call. *

They thought that becoming a priest would solve their problems because no one would question why they haven’t married, etc.

But why would they transfer him to a monastery? If I were a Trappist or Benedictine monk and they stuck him in a room with me I would be none too happy about it!:mad:

Why was this kid toucher allowed to be ordained in the first place?

The Catholic Church can save itself a lot of grief and protect a lot of kids by not allowing these homosexuals into the Priesthood in the first place.

What’s strange is, this guy, in this overwhelmingly liberal diocese, was seen as one of the most orthodox Priests.

If that’s true, perhaps equally true would be that in an actual orthodox diocese, he would be viewed as liberal.
 
Those in authority are still accepting gay men into the priesthood. In our area, one of our priests was recently cruising the local park known for a gay hangout and he was beat nearly to death by two teens. He admitted to “immoral behavior”. He has been sent away for “treatment”. Then our retired Bishop, who the current Bishop has given a house to, had the police called for a domestic disturbance when the retired Bishop kicked his gay lover. As long as there are gay priest/bishops, there will be scandal. I am frustrated with Catholics who are accepting of a gay priest. A very troubling web site is www.rcf.org I don’t often visit it because it is so depressing but the man who runs it works tirelessly (sp?) to bring to light all the scandel and it seems no one listens to him. All his posts are proven to be true. As long as gay men are admitted into the priesthood, there will be scandal.
