How is the weather y'all?

Right now, it is 72 F (about 22.2 C). Gonna be around the same temperature it was at the start of this thread for a high. It will go down slightly over the weekend, though.
 
We’re still in the 90s F in South Georgia. High of 94 F today. It will be that way all next week as well. Perhaps it will be 1 or 2 degrees cooler.
 
We had severe thunderstorms here earlier. The temperature dropped A LOT
 
Once upon a time in the outback of Queensland Australia there was a house with screened rooms so you could sleep outside on the veranda and catch the lovely cool night breeze. Another place had a screened living room…just insect screen walls floor to ceiling …it was the best way to live in a hot climate. No worries with neighbours…over an hours drive to the closest one. Only roos and possums to perv you.

It’s penance season here. Mid to upper 90’s for weeks on end. Ragweed pollen and such making our eyes feel like they are full of hot sand.
 
A return to the heat and humidity: daytime 90s, evening 70s. Fall is coming.
 
Here it is going to be mid 80s Fahrenheit in not too long. I think today the high was in the 90s, and my very interesting job interview was outside, so you could imagine how that was. It actually was really fun, it just was really hot outside. Anyway, it’s still nowhere near the hottest it’s been this year, it’s just usually I’m used to temperatures having gone down at least a little bit by now, it’s still very much summer here, although at the end of it
 
I was actually walking around my yard, since I have a fairly big yard, It started raining.
 
A mere 98F here yesterday 😦. It’s cooler at night, so I’d like to think that perhaps fall is in sight? No rain in sight, though… And, the weather app on my phone tells me it will be in the mid-to-high 90s next week…
 
Well, it rained for about 6 minutes yesterday. The high was 98F with a heat index of 104F. It’s projected to be 96F most everyday next week. I’m thinking summer is still here for us.
 
Don’t know the current temperature, but it is cool enough that I wore a long sleeve shirt.
 
Hoping for rain tonight and tomorrow …24C today,tomorrow down to 14C …has been very gusty with winds.Was very nice to be in light clothes today 🙂
 
Cool this morning, but it will be 90F today. This week promises to be mid-to-high 90s with no end to the heat in sight. We did get something like four minutes of rain the other day. It only served to make the air muggier.

We got those in South Carolina, quite often. By the time they get to this part of the state, they have usually weakened to tropical storm by the time they get to this part of the state.

We got one every year or so. Same thing, by the time they get here they’ve dissipated enough that they just give the desert a good soaking for a day or two.

Also, they chase in sea birds that you usually would normally have to go 10-100 miles offshore to see. All the local birders are very excited. Maybe I’ll do a pelagic watch from my roof. So much fun.
