Gender is a social construct and sex changes are legal.

Why do you want to force your homophobic ideology on children instead of just leaving them alone?
 
So it’s not bigotry to trying and strip LGBT people of their basic human rights? Do you not know what bigotry is?

It is just legal benefits. What else is it?

I been attacked repeatedly on this form for supposedly not being catholic enough, when I think what they mean is that I’m not conservative enough.
 
Since there is nothing wrong with the benefits, I have no objections with the benefits. I’m sorry I misread that as “Is it just legal benefits?” I apologize.

If you possess a Y chromosome you are male, if you do not you are female. No amount of hormone supplements or physical surgery can change that.

The notion that boys can become girls, and girls can become boys is nonsense and should not be pushed on children.

If a man want to live as a woman then that’s his choice, but don’t force others to validate his choice as an actual reality.

Gender has nothing to do with chromosomes. Gender is a social construct.

I think you’re confusing gender with biological sex, which are two different concepts.

Biological sex changes happen all the time whether you like it or not. No one’s forcing sex changes on children.

Do you want to make it a crime to be a trans person?

Gender is a social construct. Sex are physical (biological) characteristics.
 
I was merely clarifying the difference between gender and sex. I don’t really debate it. I find it to be wasted effort.

It is an invented concept to justify the illusion that a person can change from a man to a woman (or vice versa) and the rest of us have to accept that this is a reality.
 
No. It is an invented concept (traditionally) to create an illusion that things like dress, speech, etc. are binary, that is either male or female. That is all it is.

Each person can have their own opinion on if they believe if the traditional concept is the correct concept. If they decide it isn’t, then they can decide if they believe the concept should be modified or done away with.

It has nothing to do with the physcial sex of a person.

I never denied that gender is an invented concept and an illusion. It’s a social construct.

If you’re referring to biological sex change, then you’d probably be surprised to know that this is actually possible and happens all the time. That’s just the reality of it.
 
This is not about whether or not people dress in a certain way etc, it is about a false notion that men can become women and women become men, and then force everyone else to accept this fantasy or be branded as a bigot.

If someone wants to live as if they are a member of the opposite sex then that’s their business, but don’t force the rest of us to accept the illusion and have to treat it as a reality. And don’t try to normalise this with children.
