How Long Does It Take For You To Pray A Five Decade Rosary?

I tend to say it faster. If I am saying a slow prayer, my mind tends to wander and sometimes the Evil One puts bad thoughts in my head. Keep the prayers flowing and leave no time for the bad stuff to come in! I will normally say a Hail Mary for each of the intentions that I need to pray for.

Thanks be to God for such a wonderful mother!!

:tiphat:
Latino´s tend to speak very quickly in general…especially us Puerto Ricans lol We tend to cut Spanish words in half in our street talk and it sounds like ´pa que quieres eso sin no tiene na¨ LOL

I can´t pray the rosary with my mom for this reason as she never takes a breather. I tell her how can you possibly be able to meditate on the mysteries when you are praying so fast and her answer to that is ¨Why can´t you?" 😛 Oh well.

I like to say the Rosary in a group. However, most of the time I say it by my self. Then I do take time to reflect on the Life of Jesus Christ. I believe it is better said in a group.

It usually takes me 20 minutes to pray the Rosary. My mind tends to wander off of the mysteries if I spend too much time on them. I have to work on maintaining focus and sometimes need to backtrack. Sometimes I throw in an extra Our Father or Hail Mary by accident.😊

Anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes. If I am praying with minimal concentration, it’s 20 minutes, with moderate concentration on the mysteries, it’s 25 minutes. With maximum concentration, well, it depends on what you consider maximum but 30 minutes is usual. ;)😛

Roughly 20 minutes or so if I say it all at once. More times than not though, it is spread throughout my day as I have the time. I generally say the openings and one decade before leaving for work for the day. (Usually after a bit of Bible reading and some general prayer). The remaining decades I say throughout the day. Maybe post lunch, mid day break, then before bed etc.

I kind of like it that way as I feel I’m staying in touch with the Blessed Mother and our Lord through the Rosary throughout the day. 😃
