people pray the rosary differently, some pray fast others slow so it will be interesting to see how long it takes everybody
it would maybe take me fourty five minutes…do you add the intentions to each bead? or each decade? It takes me an hour due to the fact that at each mystery I have tons of intentions plus I tend to say the prayers slowly. The only exception to the 1 hour rule is if I pray the rosary along with Mother Angelica on EWTN…I don’t have time to stop and say a bunch of intentions as I am trying to keep up with praying the rosary…so it takes about 30 minutes.
So its…1 hour if by myself… 30 minutes with Mother Angelica.
God bless![]()
I say the intentions after I have stated the mystery. Like this “The first Glorious mystery…the Resurrection…meditate on that mystery…then say my intentions”.it would maybe take me fourty five minutes…do you add the intentions to each bead? or each decade?
er led by Father Mitch Pacwa . . . during his devout inspirational and beautiful presentations on EWTN . . . which includes Blessed John Paul the Great’s Luminous Mysteries . . . it seems to take apx. 20 minutes . . . with one of the wonderful Holy Litany pray
ers of the church immediately following . . . *which addition I love . . . *Same. I just can go for more than 10 minutes. It’s especially bad during Adoration where I sit for an hour. I get horrible images flashing across my mind [if you understand what I mean] etc. My mind travels at 1000miles an hour. The only thing that settles me is reading and even then I have to go over things three times.I have to say it fast, I can’t concentrate for a very long period before my adhd and ocd kicks in. It’s hard to focus and stay on topic when my head is going a million miles an hour.

depends, with a group you have to go the same speed (I usually run out of breath, especially in Spanish, where evidentally they have been taught not to take a breath when leading the rosario).people pray the rosary differently, some pray fast others slow so it will be interesting to see how long it takes everybody![]()
