I start the RCIA program next week (I found a parish that offers it year round, thank God). I’ve never been baptized. But I am a very faith-filled Christian person who has been attending a non-denominational Christian church for 3 years now. I was also raised a Pentecostal but denounced my faith in high school…however, never baptized.
My question is, how long will it take for me to become baptized and accepted into the catholic church?
And I know it “depends on the individual” and is primarily up to God. But I feel that I am convicted in this decision, and am ready to begin the process and eager to become catholic! Assuming I accel in the program could it be 9-12 months? Or is it a safe assumption that it will take like 2 years or maybe even longer?
