How long will it take for non-Catholics to finally accept Catholicism?

I think it will take less than 5 years for the majority of non-Catholics to accept Catholicism.

I don’t vote in public polls - sorry (will never understand why in the world it is important to know who votes in what way?? )

Anyway - I will comment on this one because it is quite simple.

Everyone in the world will either accept or deny the Truth of the Catholic Church at the time of their death. If they are not in a state of mortal sin and go to Purgatory because they are not perfect (who of us are??) then they will be made perfect and will believe all Truth of the Faith before going to heaven.

Now if you want to know during this lifetime/generation when this will occur? I will have to say never unless Jesus comes in glory in the mean time. People are just too worried about life being easy, and it’s not easy to be Catholic.

I don’t see anything particularly easy about being a Protestant Christian, either. But it is a blessing to be in the Body of Christ, despite the costs of discipleship.

O+

I am not sure what is being asked.

Some will never accept it in this life. Some will accept it as soon as they are taught the Truth. Some will take longer.

What do you mean by accepting Catholicism?

Yea, I don’t get what you are trying to say either. Where did the 5 year thing come from? Are you saying that in less then 5 years that “non-catholics” are going to have a conversion to the Catholic Church?

Paul

Well, I am a non-Catholic who is an ex-cradle Catholic who never will accept Catholicism again because I truly know what it is.
I’m with you. I accept that it exists, but I will never accept it’s teachings or it’s self proclaimed authority.

I disagree and didn’t vote because, (as you can see below) some will never do so and I believe that is the more likely answer.

Here again, I disagree, and I would know since I am one who made your same mistake and have returned to the Catholic faith. In fact, it was the anti-Catholic attacks I read and heard that actually served to get me looking into these things and ultimately led me home to our most holy faith. You can read about that “reversion” in My Testimony and see some of what I have learned on my Catholic blog, Apocalypsis

What’s wrong with the teachings of the Catholic Church?

Self proclaimed authority? I think you might want to enter the discussion found at the following link. Authority of the Church

Some may never convert to anything. Doesn’t the bible say that all the Jews will all convert at the end of the age?

Nope. Do you have some Biblical reference that someone says means that?

Change their teaching on justification, the doctrine of the Mass, the invocation of saints, and the papacy and I’ll gladly join Rome tomorrow.
If God told you to bow down and worship him would you tell him only if I can do it my way? That is pride my friend, and not a healthy pride. Jesus directed the apostles exactly how he wanted his church set up and they did… it is called the Catholic Church and has been called that since the second century…

I am sorry that you feel I am doing it my way. I won’t argue that point with you because it’s a presupposition I will not accept.

I recall reading it myself at some point. I don’t recall the place in the bible. So, either I imagined it or I read it wrong. 😊
I guess there wont be any mass conversions on the horizon then.

No need to be embarrassed my friend. That was not my intent at all. Any idea where you saw it because I’d like to see it myself? What translation are you using and we may be able to search and find it?

That’s ok - you will be Catholic before you can enter heaven, so I’m not too worried about what you think about it now. 😉

For the vast majority of non-Catholics it will take a lifetime… At the end of their life, they will find out!
