No need to be embarrassed my friend. That was not my intent at all. Any idea where you saw it because I’d like to see it myself? What translation are you using and we may be able to search and find it?
I’ll check mine quickly now. I will have to find it first. I just got a few bibles recently. The only one I had was a protestant bible the RSV. Now I have a few catholic ones and a few protestant ones. I have the RSV-CE now. Is that a good one? Its supposed to be a catholic one. (Catholic Edition)
I think it was in the last book called apocolypse or Revelation?

I think he’s probably refering to these verses:

“for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel, before the Son of man comes.” (Matthew 10:23)

“I want you to understand this mystery, brethren: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in” (Romans 11:25)

I don’t vote in public polls - sorry (will never understand why in the world it is important to know who votes in what way?? )

Anyway - I will comment on this one because it is quite simple.

Everyone in the world will either accept or deny the Truth of the Catholic Church at the time of their death. If they are not in a state of mortal sin and go to Purgatory because they are not perfect (who of us are??) then they will be made perfect and will believe all Truth of the Faith before going to heaven.

Now if you want to know during this lifetime/generation when this will occur? I will have to say never unless Jesus comes in glory in the mean time. People are just too worried about life being easy, and it’s not easy to be Catholic.

I think these polls are fun actually.

Jesus did say that there will be one flock and one shephard. We are also told that there is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism etc. So if Jesus walked on water, fed the 5 thousand with 5 loaves and 2 fishes and made many miracles he can change the mind of the non-Catholics (sorry I do love you guys! but let’s be direct and honest)
:rotfl: :whacky:

Yea, I don’t get what you are trying to say either. Where did the 5 year thing come from? Are you saying that in less then 5 years that “non-catholics” are going to have a conversion to the Catholic Church?

Paul
This was asked by someone with a keen sense of humour but you never can tell… Jesus is a God of surprises!!:extrahappy: :whacky:  :rotfl: :rotfl:

I’m with you. I accept that it exists, but I will never accept it’s teachings or it’s self proclaimed authority.
If you truly know what the Catholic Church stands for you would never have left.

Truly!

You will be back. I guarantee it. Who can resist the Truth? who can stay away from the Eucharist which is the source and summit of our Faith

God love you

I guess I was simply reading into the Rev 21:9 stuff wrong.

I even thought that Rev 22:4 meant the jews would finally see Jesus’ face.

Looks like I should stop trying to figure out what the bible says.

Very good one! I have my copy right here to hand too.🙂
I think it was in the last book called apocalypse or Revelation?
Hmm, okay. BTW, Apocalypse is the westernization of the Greek word Apocalypsis, which actually means Revelation. 😉

Certainly could be.

We should take this to PMs to avoid drawing this thread further off topic.

Change their teaching on justification, the doctrine of the Mass, the invocation of saints, and the papacy and I’ll gladly join Rome tomorrow.
Aiiiiiiiii! You do not know what you are saying!!

God forgive him for he knows not what he is saying!

Aiiiiiii!!

You may want to look at Romans 11:25-29, which could be taken to have the meaning indicated.

Well, I didn’t vote because there is no “other” option.

It took me personally 15 years from becoming a Christian to becoming a Catholic - but that’s just one person.

I would love to think that all Christians would come home to Rome at some point in the future, but I doubt it.

Unless you’re speculating about the Second Coming…?

Oh - I think polls are great fun!! But I don’t see why in the world someone sets it up as a public poll where you can see what people vote!! That is just ridiculous! My gosh, the government even allows me to have a private vote!

I am not with you. They display the results of the pole. Surely that is ok. What then do you mean by “see what people vote” isn’t that the result of the pole?

Please explain

🤷 :hmmm:

~LizaI don’t know Lizaanne. I kinda think that if you’re going to vote/express your opinion on something, the it needs to be important enough for one to show the courage of one’s conviction, so I don’t really mind the public polls.

If it’s something I don’t care about, I generally won’t either vote or post on it.

Look at the poll above. Only a public poll will list the names of those who voted and what they voted for. 🙂
Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum.

What I cannot get beyond is why a few Roman Catholics continue to start threads trying to bait other Christians like this? Is there some point? It’s like children screaming “I am the best, I am the best.” Live it and perhaps you might convince someone. Saying so isn’t going to do the trick. And by the way, all Christians are part of the universal (catholic church).

How long will it take for non-Catholics to finally accept Catholicism?

I think it will take less than 5 years for the majority of non-Catholics to accept Catholicism.
You didn’t include “never” as an answer (which of course is the right answer). It will be the other way around 😃

Yes sweetie and the Pope is your Pope too even though you do not acknowledge this.

Tough luck, I say!
