I REALLY DONT BELIVE THIS!!! DO YOU THINK IS A JOKE???
Don’t know, and I’ve closed my account with ebay long ago because of their Eucharistic selling.
They said they can’t keep an eye on everything, : probably not, but it’s funny if I owed them a penny they’d know about that.

Hmmm, they seem to have disregarded the fact that all bishops of medjugorge have more or less condemned the apparitions.

They dont care (THE SELLERS WHO SELL RELIGIOUS ITEMS AT EBAY), they worship the favorite saint of the world…SAINT MONEY

Why blame Ebay ?

If the owner sold or gave it to it Ebay for sale, it’s the owner who should be criticised.

The idea that the BVM could bless anything,* is* pretty odd. ##

Good point. The item is ridiculous, but it’s not Ebay’s fault.

By the way, I like that “Saint Money” referrence. Interesting way of putting it. 👍

I have to ask, since Mary is not a priest, how can she bless things? I ran into this at Conyers, too.

Must agree here. A FOOL AND HIS/HER MONEY ARE SOON PARTED. Ebay is only a portal and has removed and changed rules for holy items. This item is very questionable and does not fall under the rules.

I try to keep an eye on them and only buy from some of their members. I don’t agree with Wal-Mart’s policies all the time yet I still shop there.

If it were me I would have given the item to someone that would know of its family history and cherish it as such. Family can be very disrespectful of things handed down to them.
IMHO It seemed the mother held this item in great respect and the family should also.

I don’t blame e-bay. His mother left him this medal to guard and what does he do? He attempts to sell it on e-bay for $800. Shame on him. :tsktsk:

I have rosaries blessed by Our Blessed Mother. I have gone to rosary meetings where the visionary Mary Reilly is, and Jesus and Mary have appeared there, seen only by Mary Reilly, during our roasary prayer. It is then that Our Lady blesses the rosaries and holy objects that are there, including a basket of free plastic rosaries that are always there.

She appears as Our Lady of the Finger Lakes. It is okay with the Church to beleive in private revelations as long as they do not disagree with Church teachings. Mary Reilly had an excellent spiritual director, Fr. Albert Shamon, so that and Mary herself and the message content convinced me.

Mary Reilly relays to us that Our Blessed Mother blesses the Holy objects, and also relays to us that Our Blessed Mother says that they still need to be blessed by a Priest, if they haven’t already been.

So Our Lady’s blessing is very special but does not replace the Priest’s blessing. I guess that explains something I always wondered but never asked – which is, as Jesus has appeared, too, along with His Blessed Mother, why doesn’t He bless the objects rather than Mary? I see now perhaps because doing so would negate the need for a Priestly blessing and He does not cause an arguemnt that might also lead to someone neglecting a teaching of the Church.

I do not know a lot about Medjagorie but I am aware of the controversy of the local bishiops not approving it. I always wonder about that, as, while not knowing anything about those bishops i do know that some local bishops in our country are in no position to make an inspired call about holy matters. Of Medjagorie I have seen amazing fruit from some who have attended there - conversions and changed lives in a big way. And Bob and Penny Lord spoke of a possible apparation of Archangel Raphael in one of their books, and spoke of how the place is. So many people say such things! So I can’t dismiss it.

The funny thing is, once that is sold, it has lost any blessing on it.
Can’t sell blessed articles.

That is exactly my thoughts. However sells this has no understanding of blessings and no respect for the sanctity therein. Whoever buys it is a fool.

I’m afraid that someone has suckered you, Ma’am, into believing such nonsense. The notion of rosaries blessed by the BVM is on the same level as having a piece of wood from one of the rungs of Jacob’s Ladder. It is superstition, plain and simple.:ehh:
