How many couple are Best Friends

Every couple must have their spouse as their best friend its only thru friendship the relation starts in the first place and it grows from there… once you are in the relationship people tend take foot of the pedal … people must continue to work on their relationships and build it around Christ

My husband is the one I go to first on most of the real important issues in life - and the one I deeply love through our union with God in Matrimony. I know without a doubt he’d protect me with his life which is no small thing. I’d say he’s my best male friend but not really my “best friend” since we’ve had some rough times in our long marriage that are very hard to forget. IMHO, I don’t know if any male, even a husband, could ever replace a trusted female friend to talk to, confide in, and truly relate to on certain issues that males just don’t seem to understand, if that makes any sense at all. Just the way it is for me.

I’d be careful in using words like “must”. Even though I said my husband is my best friend, it would be foolish of me to say other couples MUST be like us. I would think there are other couples in very healthy marriages but they aren’t necessarily each other’s best friend.
