How many non-Catholics here at CAF, have actually read what is written in the Catechism of the Catholic Church?

Let’s see. I’ve read most of the Catechism at one point or another (and understand it), I’ve read many different apologetic works, as well as primary sources, and writings of the Saints. I’ve read the Old and New Testaments.

I even graduated from Minor Seminary (studied four years and received my degree from a small southern seminary).

And I’m not Catholic anymore.
 
Thought this was about the Catechism…

Not entirely, but I refer to it often when subjects of interest here on CAF catch my attention. I once started on page 1… Didn’t make it too far. And no. I have not read the Bible cover to cover yet, either. Getting there.

I have one here at work and one at home. Here’s the online version I use…

What do you read
1] that would require (name removed by moderator)ut (interpretation) from its “publisher” so you would have proper understanding.

2] that would not require any (name removed by moderator)ut other than your own?

How would you know if it is denied as you admit you wouldn’t read it. Come on now you’re obviously just being antagonistic.

If you want to know what the Catholic Church teaches read the following:

Bible- Douay Rheims translation
Cathechism of the Catholic Church

When you finish with these there is plenty more that we’ve written in the 2000 years since Jesus promised us He would always be with us 👍
