How many hours per day or per week do you spend reading and/or responding on this forum?
I do my internet stuff during spare moments at work. Some days there are plenty, others none at all. So I probably log on to CAF at least 4 days a week spending a few minutes here and a few there. It may total close to an hour over the course of the day. Weekends I spend with my books and seldom use the computer. I don’t do face book, twitter or any of those other social sites so I always look forward to my time here.

Wow, how does one survive a weekend without the internet? Good for you!

LOL Well, I start with beer on Friday night, relax with a large selection of books on the go, sleep in, read, nap, read, make tea, read, beer on Saturday. Repeat as necessary. LOL

I used to spend a lot of time on here, but I have cut back significantly since the new format was implemented. I would also like to state my agreement with those who have commented that the site has become very liberal, another reason that I spend less time here. I am somewhat amazed that there are those who don’t agree with this.

It’s liberal by my standards too, but compared to an average Catholic in the pew, it’s probably on the conservative side actually. At least it’s widely accepted here that things like contraception or missing Mass on Sundays are serious sins. Can’t say the same for the average Catholic in the pew.

It makes me chuckle to think of CAF as being “liberal”. If you told that to a Catholic who was actually a self-described liberal, I think they’d be a bit mystified. 😝

I mean, I can think of a few individual posters who would be considered liberal, but it’s a pretty small minority. But then, I guess it depends on how you define your terms.

Liberal is not following the teachings of the Catholic Church. And CAF is very liberal.

It’s amazing how much time people have spent on this thread so far. 😃
