How often do miracles occur?

Perhaps a better question is 'Is there a time when miracles are not going on?"

My specific view provides for not just God interacting with his creation, but being a pervasive force throughout it all.

Indeed - if we remember that “In Him we live, move and have our being.”

More likely to happen when groups of people come in prayer. I’ve been a witness to one.

Relating this to miracles, so as not to derail the thread: I try not to believe in anything, but to accept as real only those things which can be demonstrated. these are facts. I have never seen anything approaching the demonstration of a miracle - that is something which could not have happened without the intervention of forces beyond the natural world. i would accept as a miracle something like an amputated arm growing back, or a perfectly preserved corpse that had been in a fast-flowing river for a century. But I do not accept things which can and do happen in the normal course of events, such as spontaneous remission of cancer, or a fine day for the Church fair. I also understand coincidence, and that it is in their nature to happen. Coincidence is the best explanation for many claimed miracles. Outside the miracles and religion field, you might say that I ‘believe’ in parliamentary democracy. But i do not say it that way. I say I have concluded that democracy is a more robust protection for people and their freedoms than other systems.

So glad to do it. Praying for people’s intentions I would like to share some that have been answered, and you guys might think me a little wierd, but I hold that every answer to prayer is a Miracle, the reason being is because God who is supernatural answers them.

The Catholic Church is a Miracle, the fact that it has stood these 2000 years plus depsite the onslaught of all the trials that have plauged her history.

There was a prayer intnetion where someone was in a coma, things looked pretty hopeless, and now the person is talking and recuperating.

There is another one, where it looked pretty dismal, but the last time I heard, which was earlier today is that they are eating jello and their spirits are better.

When someone is struggling with their faith and God gives them the light of faith, and their Faith grows stronger.

ect. ect, The reason I did not want to say more, is because once I start talking about this, I just can’t keep quiet.

“How can I keep from singing?” indeed.

Very frequently. I think that the birth of a newborn baby or a soul that turns to Christ, or returns to Him, are good examples of miracles that occur many times during each day.

Answer would depend on an agreed definition of what a miracle is.

Very interesting.

Our Free Will could be though of a miracle, for this is not something that we have of our ownselves, but it is a gift from God.
