I’m 28 and single sighs If I had my way, I would have been married at 22. But God decided that a dead fiancee is better. 😦 And some jerk decided to get drink and drive and run into us. And with Valentine’s Day coming up, I’m very annoyed.

Country Singer:

I am so sorry that has happened to you and can see why Valentines Day is not a good day for you.

So sorry. 😦

I know if I get to Heaven, God has some very big questions to answer. He might not let me into Heaven even if I was the next Mother Teresa. And yes, Valentine’s Day does suck. I want free candy and flowers. 😛

Truly I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that one day you will be able to find someone very special that you will madly in love with. In the meantime, don’t worry so much although I can understand why you are so frustrated about the whole situation. Just keep your head up high, pray to God that He helps you find someone. Always remember that with God, all things are possible. He might even surprise you one day.

DH was 29, me 27.
Married 13.5 years.

My sister is getting married in October and will be 37 when she marries and her fiance 40. She met her fiance last year…

My parents were 27 and 34 when they married and theirs was an arranged marriage.

Getting married at an older age is not always a choice. My whole life, all I ever wanted to be was a wife and a mommy. I just didn’t meet the one for me until I was already 33, right around the time I had given up on the whole concept and was trying to resign myself to the fact that I was called to remain single.
I suppose it might have had something to do with the fact that I was looking in the wrong country. 😉 DH lived in America, I was in Holland, and we met online in a chat room about a science fiction author. We met in the flesh three months later when I flew out to meet him, were married a year and and a half after that, and we now have two beautiful little girls. I was 34 and he was 35 when we got married. That was 5 and a half years ago. 🙂

My husband and I were married at 19. It was one of the smartest things I ever did and my marriage is the greatest blessing God has given me, and it has brought the additional blessings of children, too.

I was 26 and DH was 29 ( 2 months shy of 30). But, I don’t think 23 is “young”. I also don’t think we were “old”. When you meet the right person, why wait (well unless you are under age–then wait until it is legal).

I was 18 and dh was 21. We’re approaching our sixth anniversary 🙂

My parents were both 19 and are still happily married 26 years later. They are a true inspiration.

I had just turned 28; DH was 38. We’d been dating for four years. It was perfect for us - I had graduated college, had my career, lived on my own, dated others, and then met DH. I knew he was the one when we started dating.

Now we’ve been married 11 years, we have a 6 yr old and a 3 1/2 year old, both boys. Only issue is I want another child, DH doesn’t. Plus we are the ‘sandwich generation’ and now caring for our elderly parents, one of whom has stage 4 cancer.

I can’t believe how young everyone was! 🙂

Now I feel a little old.

We are both 28 and were married about a month ago. We met at age 24.

There was literally no way I could handle a marriage younger then 26 or 27. Neither of us had the maturity to handle something like that.

I just knew I wanted to be married, settled and with a kid before 30 and I met that goal.

I’m getting married on Saturday, and I’m 30. (My fiancé is 27.) Works for us. 👍

We got married when I was 19. I think it’s good to get married young that way you’re not set in your ways. 😉

I was 20 when we got married, my DH was 23.

I turned 21 four months later, and was diagnosed with cancer 2 days after that.

All in all an eventful year, but 11 years later we are very happy, I beat the dirty c word and we are blessed with 2 beautiful children! 😃
