Well, concerning the picture above. It seems bad really . If we say its authentic picture of an evil spirit . Wouldn’t this evil spirit appear to be evil spirit to the person who has the revelation ? i mean it looks horrible all right . Plus do u think that this evil spirit would ask people to worship the God of Abraham?

I dont know . I dont know where the hec this pic comes from and what is its sources. Some idiot was happy he found a Jin and probably posted it as if he has discovered the atomic bomb. The funny thing about this picture is that when the person who took thsi picture actually took it he wasnt photographing anything in particular . I mean if we take this freeak out of the picture then we have some one photographing nothing . Its clealrly in my opinion that this whole pick is some bad joke. and some idiot muslim who doesnt even know hwo to spell posted it on his website !!

This picture was taken in the Hira Cave, where Mohammed claimed to first start receiving his revelations from the “Angel”… Looks like that particular evil spirit wasn’t very camera-shy, either.

The same picture is also found on an Islamic web site. This page calls the photograph “an unbelievable miracle”. I call it “disturbing”.
This the magnitude of God.
God will take islam, and use it for His greatness, and so he will take the work of Satan, and use it to honour Him

IMO they were no more reliable than Muhammad which means they were totally unreliable.

i’m sorry to say, but you have no clue of what you’re talking about. perhaps you should read up on some more detailed history regarding the Quran’s compilation…
We believe the Bible.

According to the Bible, Mohammed was a false prophet(Ref. Luke 16:16 says John the “Babtist” was the last prophet). And Qura`n revealed by satan to Mohammed(Ref. 2 Corinthians 11:14 says, satan can disquise himself to look like an angel).

Also Bible says,(Galatians 1:7-9)

Actually there is no other gospel, but I say this because there are some people who are upsetting you and trying to change the Gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel that is different from the one we preached to you, may he be condemned to hell!. We have said it before, and now I say it again; If anyone preaches to you a gospel that is different from the one you accepted, may he be condemned to hell!

In Christ,

btw, have you even bothered checking those references?
Salaam Brother;
I don’t think our Friend Hospitaller took the time to check the references, If it was the case, he would have certainly abstained from posting the quotes because they only bring him embarrassment. We do our best to avoid embarrassing others.

Salaam.
Joseph.

No Brother, is it not answering-islam.org, it is the CDU Cult information site, CDU stands for Christian Defense Update and here is the LINK to their site.
assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah brother joseph,

looks like i guessed wrong. jazaakallahu khairan for the link. interesting that he’d take it from that particular site, considering they have a whole page refuting catholic beliefs, comparing them to what’s mentioned in the bible.

cdu.jesusanswers.com/catholic.html

reading through the link you gave containing the problems with islam, i actually found it quite amusing.

r.gonzales and Joseph_Alison,

Since this is a Catholic site and the majority of the people speak English it is rather impolite of you to write and answer each other in what I assume is Arabic. If you wish to communicated in another language it would be more polite to ‘private message’ or email each other.

I know this happens all the time. When they come to a situation where they have no answer for they pick on some other thing and make funny comments on it instead of the point in question. Perhaps they haven’t come across the line, ‘don’t shoot the messenger.’

for Gods sake !!! they were saying salam aleikum = hello
Jazak allah khairan = may Allah reward you !!!

Plus i see many of you guys have other languages than Engliush here .

really cant believe you guys !!! I bet i am not alone!!!

with the exception to the islamic greeting at the beginning of my post (which i’m pretty sure many of you are familiar with) and one other arabic phrase (which means “may Allah reward you”, just as meedo mentioned), my post was in english. so, i don’t know why you’re making such a big fuss about TWO short arabic phrases.

and just as meedo mentioned, i’ve seen others on this messageboard - mainly catholics - posting in lanuages other than english - namely latin. so again, i don’t know why you’re making such a big fuss about nothing.

I don’t think it’s a big deal, myself. If anyone wants to know what’s being said, they can always ask.

meedo is on my ignore list since I beleve him to be a liar. This is a Catholic web site and most of us older Catholics have some familiarity with Latin. I had no clue what your phrases means. If I went to an Islamic site I would not post in Latin. However if you want to continue to post in Arabic that is your perrogative. I was just stateing my opinion.

Sometimes evil spirits get caught on film. I don’t know whether they are photogenic or they don’t know what cameras are. Someone I know talks about his family wedding pictures that were burnt because some contained the picture of a family member long dead.

Yes the devil’s work is always to guide people away from God’s work and its fullfilment in Christ. As he himself knows well the Truth and the salvation that is in Christ. he himself had a go at Jesus hoping that he might fail His mission. He has tried so many tactics and is not surprising as he is the master of deception. He attacks the Truth from within and without just like the scripture says he has also come as an angel of light. For instance worshipping the God of Abraham is true but at the same time neglecting all of the revealed truth later in Christ. So he comes within the truth to deceive people. He knows it very well that on Judgement Day Jesus will just say to many,“go away I don’t know you.”

Yeah the same thing is said about the apparitions of the Blessed Mother. However we know what is wrong from right just as we know what is holy from the unholy.

To photographers and virtually anyone who can operate a camera there really is no such thing as “nothing” on this planet. Take a look around you or just take a picture of the sky. Some may say it’s nothing yet it is either a clear blue sky or just clouds. To camera lovers anything is something and they just take pictures just for the heck of it. So nothing really is “nothing” here unless you happen to be floating in outer space or inside the centre of a black hole.

Really in close detail it looks like a dwelling place of the evil spirits on earth.

mmm is this the devil that appeared to Muhammad you’re talking about
yenisafak.com/arsiv/2004/temmuz/24/tarih.html

it’s turkish, but i don’t think you need to understand what it’s saying, the pictures in the page speak for themselves.

“O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.” (Qur’an 49:6)
