I’m pretty confused…
When I was about 7 or 8, (I’m 13 now), my newly appointed parish priest said something to my mum about me one day being a nun, and said that I’d be the Mother Prioress for the Augustines(or Augustinians? how do you say it?) . He also kept asking my mum whether she had taken me to the Carmelite monastery nearby to have a look.
I have always had the idea that I might become a nun, and I do like these Orders, but I always feel that I’d rather do something more active and not be cloistered.
Should I take this priest’s words very seriously, as if it was a dort of “knowing” of what I was meant to do, or should I sort of take it as a guide and not focus too much on the cloistered orders, as I wish?
Thankyou in advance:thumbsup: :juggle:
