How seriously to take a rose from St. Therese

Just to clarify everyone, the Rose is supposed to be handed to you. Not seeing roses in gardens and walking into rooms with Roses. This is dangerous if you are looking upon these things and make life decisions based on them and it is also foolish.

A vocation should be discerned with the help of a spiritual director and allow a decision to come from talking it over with the director for at least 1 year of discernment.
According to who? I didn’t know there was a manual with strict rules about these sorts of things. 😛

Sorry to disagree with you. My rose was huge, crowning the very top of a bush completely devoid of leaves, very late in the year. That was definitely a gift from St. Therese. (Happy feast day, St. Therese!)
