Classic avoidance ploy used to divert attention away from the issue. Please answer the question I asked.
Of course the Bible teaches sola Scriptura. It does so by implication.
Michael,
There is absolutely no implication that scripture alone is sufficient contained in the Bible. The Apostles didn’t mention it; those that they taught directly didn’t mention it; nor did any of the writers for the next millennium and a half. There is, in fact no evidence of the concept throughout the long history of the Church. It was invented in the 16th century after Christ by men intending to set up their own man-made churches. It is a false, self-refuting, man-made doctrine. I pray that Our Lord Jesus Christ will send the Holy Spirit ot open your heart and eyes to see the fallacy of this false doctring. Ephphetha!

May God keep you always in His care.

I love his comment, “Of course the bible teaches sola scriptura. It does so by implication.”

When a man takes the position, “If it ain’t in the Bible, it ain’t” he has just kicked “implication” out the window.

I also note how those who invented Sola Scriptura have been unable to maintain a coherent message. Go to a hundred different Protestant churches, and you will find a hundred different doctrines – and each one will tell you seriously that if you follow another Protestant doctine, you’re doomed to hell.http://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon12.gif
