My children have both stated that they will never put me in a home. I told them they better be nice to me or I’ll go their home!

It’s a running joke in the family…better be nice to mom or she’ll live with youuuuu! Honestly, for me, it would depend on the level of care I’d need. I refuse to be a burden! But, I want my own TV! 🤣
 
It actually sounds like you agree with the headline in and of itself. Are you in the line of thinking similar
to blm (Marxist organization) that the nuclear family in the United States must be destroyed and dismantled?

No, I don’t exactly agree with the headline. I just thought some of the concepts in the article were worth discussing, rather than dismissing with them without understanding them. By the way, welcome to the forum!

We told our three kids once that when we retired we were going to spend four months of the year with each of them.

My older daughter said, “Oh, yeah? What are you doing the second year?”
