I can’t say if this will work for you or not, but I find more peace alone after mass or at an empty church.
When mind drifts I look at art online which inevitably leads to sculptures and artists interpretations of biblical events and after quickly or slowly admiring each one, remembering how humbling it is that after all these events while I may be just a dirty strand of sand in a 1000 mile beach in God’s eye that can easily be overlooked when admiring the totality of the beauty of a scenic beach. He still went thru with giving me the gift of life.
Life itself can be hard and admittedly we can make it harder on ourselves than it should be sometimes but despite it all I am grateful for the opportunity to have experienced it all; just because he decided to give me a gift that only he can give and no one else.
