I don’t speak Polish, but have several Polish friends who live here. All of them are married and very traditional as you say, although they didn’t marry Catholics either. We go to retreats, extra masses and out socially together and they are good friends. I’m well into the “Clique” lol.
If you are in the “clique”, do they have any “leads” for you? If they don’t have any in the UK, maybe they have some female “leads” in Chicago that can help me out? 😀

🤣 I could certainly ask! For both of us, that is. I have plenty of Irish Catholic family who moved to Illinois and my good friend from Chicago is Catholic, around your age and only married in the past couple of years. I’m sure the right one is out there for you. One of my Polish friends used to live in the US before settling here and regularly attended the local Catholic church. We got to know each other through volunteering at our Parish and then started meeting socially…so that is my advice for getting in the Clique!

I am somewhat in the “clique”, as I am of Polish descent, go to a parish staffed by priests from Poland, took some Polish in college, live on the NW side of Chicago in an area that has many Polish immigrants, have a doctor from Poland, and regularly ride with Polish motorcyclists (in fact, the way I met the lady who dumped me to go into religious life is that when I was at a National Catholic Singles Conference, I saw her nametag and we both recognized each other from being on an email list geared mainly to Polish Catholic motorcyclists). Although even with that, I have to say “somewhat in the clique” because most of the people at the Polish masses at my parish tend to stick with their own community.
