Now I have been a member of CAF for about 3 years or so, and so most people know my background. For those who don’t, here is a very short recap:
raised devout United Methodist–Senior year of high school started dating Catholic girl–went to Mass and felt fufilled–started going all the time and reasing TONS–started RCIA but didn’t finish–girlfriend left me after three years for another man (heartbreaking)–haven’t been to Mass since October of 2006.
I really want to move on in my life. I am at a new college and am making new friends. I plan on applying to medical school next year but right now I feel very lonely, sad, depressed. It’s like something in my life is missing. I love the Faith and it hurts me so much that I just can’t bring myself to go. I think some of it has to do with my ex-girlfriend. I know that I will get over the whole thing, in fact I have made sooo much progress. Things are getting better but it seems like right now I am stuck in a rut. What do I do?
all the best,
