How to proceed when CAF makes you angry, frustrated, or disgusted?

I have rules. Like do not make any type of post that would satisfy a desire to be sarcastic. I need that rule. Spend some time praying about if maybe some type of rule would help you. Or maybe rules don’t help you, but taking a break would. This place can have nice things about it, but it all depends on what you seek and what you want.

Is sarcasm sinful in itself? Always? I don’t think so. I think it can be used appropriately or inappropriately.
And what about irony?
 
Remember, they are my rules, for me. If I am quivering with anticipation over a potential sarcastic remark, I am probably not fit to post. If it is just a usual, boring remark, then I can post. It is all relative to my usual behavior. If I stay in “usual” mode, I’m fine.

And yes, I have just set myself up perfectly for someone to make a cutting remark…😉
 
I wouldn’t say anyone is mean except for a few outliers. Mostly I just don’t like what people say, but I don’t want to make a big deal.
 
That’s funny. There are conservatives who would say the opposite is true. Some think there are more liberals here

Imho what happens is a liberal person says something and the conservatives get defensive and then in another situation a conservative person says something and liberals get defensive. Either way you won’t find any one group of Christians who are the nicest. There are all kinds of personalities in both camps.
