How to speak to a gay Christian friend

@JeremiahB tried to use his Socratic wisdom on me, successfully confused himself, then got mad and wandered off.
 
It was possibly the most bizarre logic I’ve ever witnessed on CAF.
 
I think this has gone off topic just a bit ha. Thank you all for the advice and encouragement. Pray for us and for my friend! God Bless!

Your first priority in front of God is your family. If this friendship causes hardships for your marriage, you have to make a choice.
If you don’t like discussing certain things with your friend this friendship will eventually become misty and vanish. He will get other friends and so will you. I don’t understand your insistence on being friends with him.
Maybe it’s not him being gay, it’s him wanting to discuss things with friends that you wouldn’t. It really looks like there is more than one thing pointing out you two are heading different directions.
