A friend of mine had a tee-shirt that said “When it’s a chicken, it’s an omelette. When it’s a human, it’s an abortion.”
She wore it during a debate in our class about abortion, so I brought everyone’s attention to her shirt. After describing the logic of “terminating a pregnancy,” I pointed to her shirt and said: “By that logic, when it’s a chicken, it’s an abortion. When it’s a human, it’s still an abortion.”
A couple people tried to refute it, but I pointed out logical fallicies and double-think that they were using. Even my teacher had to tell the class that my argument was logically sound and to move on instead of forcing me to belabor my point.
