Never I offended the prophet when talking with muslims, I did that only in this thread because I was upset

Just restrain yourself. slow down and breath. For others we are the false religion remember that. You can also evangelize by living and being a good example. Preaching doesn’t always work. Sometimes it harbours bad feelings. Nobody likes to be told you are wrong.

I do not believe that anything God has made on earth is “impure.” There are no unclean or impure foods…except maybe those that contain trans-fat.

God was trying to protect His people from being sick, thousands of years ago when modern medicine wasn’t available, look at Leviticus 7-23

Everybody knows that fat is harmful, and if not well cooked it can transmit diseases as like the Taenia saginata, the beef tapeworm

that tapeworm hides in the fat, the eggs looks like small pieces of fat perfectly undetected

God warning to washing out our hands and clothes etc, is very similar of world health organization saying to wash careful our hands because of the swine flu, they could be contaminated and therefore impure

hello delta. if you want to eat pork on your own time, go for it. i like bacon myself. however, if i have a Jewish guest at my home for dinner, i will go out of my way to make sure that what i serve is within the requirements, that God has givein his chosen people in the law. this would include not mixing dairy with meat products, prohibitions on shell fish, meat with the blood still in it(which i follow myself.) etc. its a matter of common decency and respect. nothing more nothing less. if my guest happens to be a vegitarian, then guess what, were gonna eat vegetarian for the meal. land animals have to chew cud and have cloven hooves. Birds can’t be birds of prey.
(more or less).

fish have to have scales.

This is all set forth in the Bible.

You asked if you were being rude. You acknowledge to say what you said in front of muslims would be rude. You should assume that some muslims will read what you post and be offended. You asked a simple question. The simple answer was yes.

If you are catholic, perhaps a more interesting question would be “Does Church doctrine support my statement?” I don’t think it does.

I’m not a regular user in here although I’m a proud Roman Catholic, the only true religion that I believe in my full heart. There is nothing in my Church that I regret or get ashamed

But I find myself often talking with a wall ( muslims - islam ), no matter what I say or do it is always bad interpreted

I try hard to evangelize or teach, or at least breaking holes in that inexpugnable wall

See if this will help you. As muslims too are allowed to eat pork, but in certain cases, and i wonder why. If its bad, than its bad, but if you see the quotes down, they are allowed.

No. I do not think that you’re wrong. As Christians we’re no longer bound by the Mosaic laws since we have a new covenant given us by Jesus. Also, read Acts 10:9-15 where God Himself said to Peter not to call unclean what He made and has called clean. Therefore we can eat pork and other things that God has provided us as food and bodily nourishment.

Since the Muslims refuse to accept this, or listen to our reason, or accept our scriptures ( Bible ), it is their problem and not ours.
