The other day the muslim terrorists used a car bomb to try and kill some of our troops. In the car were 2 muslim children. They used them to get the car though security and blow it up WITH THE CHILDREN INSIDE. Where is the islamic outrage? I see or hear none. In a way this is like human sacrifice for Allah. Suicide bombings aren’t much different then human sacrifice. This is an angle that should be explored. Maybe, just maybe, the horror will finally penetrate and muslims will finally renouce terrorism unequivocally.

just one of many horrors
I was watching on the TV news these poor kids who were gassed with chlorine - very sad

I was waiting for those who said that there were no illegal weapons, like gas, to apologize. Imagine if they will do that over there what they will do here if they can?

I believe the Shiites sacrificed Saddam Hussein.
They are just grinding thier teeth to pull Tarik Aziz’s head off because not only was he Saddam’s Foreign Minister but a Christian to boot!

Of course Muslims have a responsibility to renounce terrorism, but we as Christians should do our part as well. We need to stand up for relgious tolerance. We need to stop saying that we are completely right and they are completely wrong. We have so much in common with Muslims. We need to stand up for peace like Jesus did. We could also learn a lot from eastern religions such as Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. They are inclusive, tolerant, and peaceful.

Huh?
What we need is a CRUSADE against these murdering infidels.
Live The Dream of James IV! End Islam once and for all.

Absolutely disgusting. Whoever committed this atrocious act are sick evil cowards and no matter what excuses they may give absolutely **NOTHING **justifies killing children, killing innocent people or killing themselves (suicide is also completely forbidden in Islam).

Lost indeed are those who kill their children… (Qur’an 6:140)

Rest assured they will not get away with this, God will hold them to account for what they did.

We want to end terrorism not become a terrorist.

Islam is a great religion which is very similar to Christianity. We should respect Islam. There is no reason to “end Islam.” Firstly, I dont think it is possible and secondly it goes against what Jesus taught us.

I really dont understand how you could say this. Could you explain your reasoning for your response?

I also believe that God will hold them to account for their evil and despicable actions, but when are the peaceful and loving Muslims we hear so much about going to put a stop to the slaughter of Innocent people and the children?

Respect Islam?
I believe Islam has made it VERY clear in the past few centuries that its only purpose is the eradication of all Christians and Jews who refuse to convert to their “worship”, just ask Daniel Pearl and the citizens of Constantinople (STILL occupied).
A Great Crusade is the only answer to their Jihad, I wish there was a more peaceful solution but alas there is none.

Who speaks for Islam?

If you can’t answer that question, how can you say “Islam has made it very clear…”?

A religion can’t speak. Individuals speak, so I’d like to know which individuals you believe speak for Islam, and why.

My pastor once said that tin he Crusades, we shoulda killed them all!  :doh2: 😊

Who speaks for Islam?

Mullah Omar
Osama bin Laden
Ruhollah Khomeini
Mehmed II
and most importantly Muhammed the pillager of Arabia.

mgupta, I understand where you’re coming from, but I suggest you read Islam: A Catholic Perspective published by Catholic Answers. It’s only $3, and a very short read. It will give you a good deal of information and history about why we’ve never to this day been able to make peace with the muslims, and why we can’t expect it in the future.

I would like nothing more than to respect them and have peace with them, but their religion will not allow it.

Okay, why do Mullah Muhammad Omar and Osama bin Laden speak for Islam?

How about Khomeini?

And Mehmed the second?

I see that you have your own idea about Muhammad, but Muslims besides Osama bin Laden all say that he was a peaceful and fair person. So I’d like to know why you endorse Bin Laden’s teaching as authentic, but don’t consider anyone else to be a real representative of Islam.
