This is interesting, I just watched a show about this very topic, apparently science is getting pretty close to being able to ‘create’ just about any kind of combination one could think of, they use the example of putting some kind of spiders genes into a human fetus, that would allow that person to have some kind of self healing ability that is said to be incredible, they did go on to say, once they have this ability, they COULD splice in ANY genetic marker/ trait from ANY living animal or human.

They claimed within the next 15-20 years, OBGYN doctors will be more like genetic scientists, and they claim a single baby can be created from up to 32 parents, they can take the best traits from each person and combine it into one egg.

BUT, they also said once this technology is reached, there will be a concern that anyone, even a rogue scientist that may have some strange beliefs could create literally any kind of living being he could dream up without much expense…for example, they said it would be possible to take ANY genetic trait from ANY creature and splice into a human, even giving a person wings, gills, fins, etc. they said in the future this kind of thing will be used in creating ‘specialized people/ beings’ each with special abilities giving them an upper hand to do certain projects, such as working underwater, working in space, etc.

This is pretty scary stuff, and we should probably not be too surprised if in the near future, we start seeing more and more half human half animal beings with all kinds of crazy features and abilities!!

I only wonder if God will allow such beings to be born…after all, God still has to breathe life into every single living thing before it is born, so it would be quite interesting if such a being was even born…Would this show that God is not opposed to it though?

Some of these prospects make no sense outside science fiction.

Put wings on a human soma, and nothing is gained but a nightmare freak. We are too large and our bones too dense for natural flight.

Likewise, gills would not help, as not enough breath could be gained from water to power our warm, heavy bodies.

Where would fins be attached?

I have an unwritten sci-fi story in my head, one of whose characters is the off-spring of a human mother and an alien father. However, unlike the Star Trek universe, where the humanoid races all had one common genetic ancestor, and therefore could interbreed, I took a hint from Carl Sagan (“A human would have a better chance of breeding with a daffodil than with an alien”) and had the two parents (with the help of genetic scientists) create their offspring by picking the DNA for the desired human and alien traits and combining that. I happened to sit next to a genetic scientist on a trans-Atlantic flight once, and I mentioned that idea, and she thought that in the far future it might be doable.

That is certainly true in our gravity, but it might be interesting to consider in a microgravity (0.1 g or so) environment. It would still have to be more than wings, tho; there would have to be some significant musculature changes.

Those might be only details…

I was wondering if these possible genetic modifications might be tied with the 666 guy. The allegiance to him will have no forgiveness. Can this be because of a genetic modification which can not be undone? There are people who repented after being involved with all sort of the occult sects.

Also, how much of this research or experimentation goes on in secret?

Im sure they would not just ‘add wings or gills’ to a person, they would also change the genes so the person would be able to use these extra parts, if they can manipulate genes in this manner, they can change other aspects of our DNA too, enabling these chimera to use whatever is given to them.

Look, I dont claim to understand any of this, Im only going on what the scientists say and I have to take them at their word that they know what they are talking about.

For example, if they wanted to create a person with wings, they would have to splice in these traits from some large bird, PLUS, they would have to change other human genes in order for that person to use the wings, maybe give that human hollow air sac filled bones too, they may be a very frail human, but they would still be able to fly.

I doubt it very much.

You can’t change the genes of a living body very much.

I imagine the 666 (or 616) effect to be purely spiritual.

Indeed genetic modification needs one generation, so if the 666 guy modifies people they will be mature only the next generation…

And one is not punished eternally for the actions of their parents.

Which again leads to the 666/616 effect as purely spiritual.
