Christianity has true issues in the West. Secularism and Islam are certainly affecting European populations. On the other hand, Christianity in South America and Africa is apparently doing well. Crazy world, eh?

Western Europe won’t make it out of this century as a power at the current rate.

Western secularism will probably be marginalized and outlawed by then.

Long story short, the Muslims are not integrating, and even ardent gay rights supporters and feminists are caving before them and the Germans aren’t going to keep bailing everyone out financially.

Sharia law exists by de facto in some places and there are even attempts to establish “gay free zones”.

Mostly, the EU media has been covering for—even defending—Islam, most notably the stats when it comes to immigrant rape, but one brave soul did sheepishly write something about how “advances” for women’s rights is under attack via immigration.

Plus, if America goes under enough under the democrats, we won’t be able to fund most of their defense, which is a huge reason why they are able to run all these social experiments in secularism----or at least repeat the same mistakes of their past empires.

I guess the lesson here is that the secular left doesn’t mind getting pushed around, just as long as the assailant isn’t a straight, well-to-do, able-bodied white Christian male of Anglo-Saxon descent.

South America is filled with western nations, not just geographically speaking. Argentina, for instance, has the greatest percentage of european descendants population outside of europe of any nation in any of the other continents (cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ar.html). And catholicism is loosing millions to the evangelical churches. Pope Francis appearance has slowed down this trend but I´m afraid it´s still a big issue.

I agree hat it´s somewhat leveled off. But I donpt think they get conversions because of pastors availability. The RCC is everywhere. I think the main appeal is that they offer temporal promises instead of spiritual. Many needed people are eager to hear that speech.

We did a port visit to Den Helder and Amsterdam when I was in US Navy. Strange country. I didn’t see the nicest parts of it, though. I am not sure how religion could survive in Amsterdam.

Not all Evangelical Protestantism is like that. Surely it has something also to do with a possible lack of zeal on the part of cultural Catholics and the clergy which pushes some of the laity to go elsewhere (“I’m not getting spiritually fed”).

Ohhh, believe me, when you bend over backwards for people over something as trivial as race and some disjointed view of cultural “tolerance” and give them that much power over you without assimilating them, you would be surprised at the results that can create.

Even the gay rights activists and feminists yield to Islam.

The Netherlands and Belgium are changing!

They may not even need a majority to accomplish that. All you need is a complacent or scared population.

That’s how the Axis were able to run all over the Old World.

I’m not saying that Islam is the same as Imperial Japan, Facist Italy or Nazi Germany (technically, that’d be incorrect), but if radical Islam is allowed to rise and mainstream Muslim immigrants, moderate Muslims, Christians or even the secularists do nothing, they win if nothing else by default.

It’s not how a successful, prosperous civilization will, well, continue to be successful and prosperous.

A few hot, bright moments of this kind of enlightenment won’t cut it.
