BETHLEHEM, West Bank (AP) — Hundreds of Christian faithful, defying lashing rains and wind, celebrated Christmas Mass at Jesus’ traditional birthplace on Sunday, spirits high despite the gloomy weather.

The church was packed, and the overflow crowd waited eagerly in an arched corridor for a chance to enter.
It is so nice that Mass can be celebrated in Bethlehem to this very day. That said, I wonder how many people at the Mass were visiting from the United States and from other nations? I hope that the Holy Mass was a very nice one for them.
