Almighty Father, please be with DH today during his meeting with his boss. Send your Holy Spirit to guide him and give him wisdom to fully understand everything that is discussed and to enlighten all of his responses to her. Be his defender, dear Lord. Through the intercession of the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, patron saint of workers, may justice prevail. Amen.

Please keep praying, prayer warriors…my husband’s boss not only delayed his anticipated follow up meeting…this afternoon she threw him under the bus with senior management. It never ends with this woman. DH has an interview tomorrow. Please pray it goes well. Thank you.

Asking Our Lord to bless DH so he presents himself in the best possible light and has a very successful phone interview today. May Jesus and His mother each have a hand on his shoulder to guide him and the Holy Spirit provide divine wisdom as DH provides answers to the interviewer’s questions. May his guardian angel intercede to facilitate a good rapport during the conversation. Also asking the intercession of St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers, to aid in this interview and to help protect DH’s current employment. May the Holy Family shield DH from his supervisor’s abuse. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

St. Joseph, patron saint of workers, hear our pleas. Protect DH’s job while he searches for new employment and may he soon find a position where he is happier and more respected. Please shield him from his supervisor’s abuse. Lastly, please forgive my doubts and prevent me from developing the bitterness and anger I feel creeping into my heart. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
 
Praying a peaceful day for DH, one that is free of fear or his supervisor’s abuse. May his job be protected until he can find a new position where is he respected and appreciated. Thank you all who have prayed for our intentions.

Thank you, Lord, for giving DH a peaceful, productive day at work. It was nice to sit and enjoy each other’s company this evening — something that’s been hard for us to do lately. Asking St. Joseph for a speedy, favorable resolution to this stressful situation.
