My scrupulosity is getting the better of me. Here it is: my brother purchased a music CD and my husband made a copy for himself (of course I ranted and raved saying this was sinful). Husband asked me to type the songs so he could put it on the plastic CD holder and I hesitated and said I wouldn’t do it because what he did was wrong. But what I did do was type some stickers with the title of the CD so he can stick it on the box. I went to Communion this morning. I know I didn’t commit mortal sin - and I think I did this for him in the past. Now I am totally against what he did but how wrong was it for me to do him a favor and just print a label? I wouldn’t type the names of the songs and told him to do that himself. And how bad would it be if I did him the favor of typing the titles (as he is a terrible typist and I am a whiz). And can I do this for him if it comes up again??? Something like this causes me great embarrassment in Confession because I know it is so silly. (typing titles and labels)
thanks all.
