Thank you to everyone who has been praying for my husband, Rodney, and I. The pathology report was not good. The cancer already broke through the prostate. I having been reading all about poor prognosis. Please pray that God will still heal my husband and please pray for me because I don’t want to become a 44 year old widow. I keep imaging all these horrible things of what will become of me. Thank you.

Therese

Dear Therese,
I will be praying hard for both you and your husband.
:gopray2:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Oh no! I am so sorry that you’re dealing with this…May God bless you and your husband!

**Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. **

Therese, I’m sorry to hear this news. That means that you all will have a lot of treatments to go through. I’ve had 27 family members with breast cancer. We have had complete miracle healings in our family and I know that there is a miracle awaiting your family. Trust in God! He will see you both through this.

Pam

O Saint Peregrine, you who have been called “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, who for so many years bore in your own flesh this disease of CANCER that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more; you who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cros to heal your affliction, ask of God and Our Lady the cure of Rodney. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall praise God for His gread goodness and mercy. AMEN

Therese, I’ll be praying for both you and your husband.

Therese, the loving God who created you and Rodney has sustained you throughout your lives. He loved you before he created the earth. He knows of your love for Him and for Rodney. Move forward in blind faith and trust, for God alone is your hope. Pray that His will be done, even if it is devastating. It is precisely in those moments of surrender and vulnerability that His grace will be poured out upon the two of you. It was only through Christ’s utter desolation on the cross that grace saved the entire world-the world which contains both you and Rodney. When we suffer the same desolating fate, we merit the same eternal dwelling place.

You and Rodney are in worldwide prayers.

Hail O Illustrious St. Philomena, who didst so courageously shed thy blood for Christ, I bless the Lord for all the graces He has bestowed upon thee during thy life and especially at thy death. I praise and glorify Him for the honor and power with which He has crowned thee, and I beg thee to obtain for me, from God, the graces I ask through thy powerful intercession. Amen.
My husband and I pray this every night for the intention of Rodney’s healing and for God’s peace in both of your souls.

Sorry to hear the bad news.

I assume it means radiation and chemo. If so take it easy; one day at a time. My wife had radiation for colon cancer many years ago. It grinds you down over time; so schedule in some fun days and baby yourselves. [Regard it as time off Purgatory. 👍 ]

With my contiunued prayers.

Hi Therese,
You both continue to be in my prayers. Please let us know how you are both coping.

God Bless You Both.

P.S. I sent you a Private Message…but my computer…blanked out…so I am not sure if you received it. (I don’t know if there is a way I can check)

Keeping you both in prayer…Lord, please hear our prayers…
