Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed

the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

God Bless You all!

Dear Friends,

God is so Good:bowdown:to make me know such beautiful people such as yourselves! I have tears of gratitude and please know I extend my most heartfelt love back to all of you! ❤️ All of you are so warm and caring and your prayers and words and thoughtfulness in remembering my intentions picks me right back up when I start to feel low. Sending all of you…:hug1:

Here is an update: Rodney’s first post-op (4 week) PSA was .4. The goal is less than .02. All the fear came rushing back in, so I called my husband’s team at the urology clinic and they were very reassuring and told us to wait until Rodney has a repeat PSA in January. They told me the initial PSA is a baseline. If the PSA continues to rise, that means that cancer cells are still present and Rodney would need further treatment such as radiation. I was told there was a 30-40% chance that the cancer would recur. So if you sweet family of prayer warriors:knight2:will continue to pray for Rodney’s complete healing, I would be ever so grateful!

I wanted to share with you the prayers that have been answered so far:
  1. Unlike the first time, there were no complications during the second attempt at surgery.
  2. There were no post-op/recovery complications (and my husband went back to work this week).
  3. Rodney is not having any incontinence problems.
  4. We thought that we were going to have to pay thousands of dollars in hospital costs, but in our wildest dreams we never thought the balance was going to be as low as it!
So thank you with all my heart! I really believe your prayers are rising like incense to our Heavenly Father! :blessyou:

Love,

Therese

And please know of my continued prayers for all of you and everyone who visits the prayer forum.

So sorry to hear about your husband. My prayers are with you and your family.

Those are good odds. Consider it 60-70% chance of cure. It took me four years to get to 70%. 5 years is the big one going to 90% chance of cure. Always half full! Continued prayers, Tim

Therese - Thanks for the update.

With continued prayers. - Joe

Thank you, Therese, for the update and for your prayers for all of us at CAF. It is great news that Rodney feels well enough to return to work.

I will continue to pray for him, as well as all who have asked for prayers here at CAF.:gopray2:

Thanks for the news Therese, God is good. I will continue to pray for you. God Bless.

In Jesus through Mary,
Steve.

Thank you for the update, Therese…and giving thanks for those Graces already granted to Rodney - and you. May The Lord continue to support you both and may he restore Rodney to full good health. Amen.
Deo Gratius!

Oh Therese,
I just found your thread, but have been praying for both of you and now I see the updates. My father, as I told you before, did have this cancer and is fine now. What I didn’t say is that his PSA also kept rising or it was not at the desire level. He did end up having radiation, but that was two years ago and he is fine now. The doctor now checks on him yearly and so far no recurrence of the cancer.

I will pray though as you request for a complete healing for Rodney so that he won’t have to go through radiation therapy. I will also continue to pray for the Lord to give you strength for you have to keep your dh motivated and be a source of hope for him. I am sure you are doing that now and reminding him that with God nothing is impossible. I just saw a special on Fr. Solanus of Casey on EWTN and he had so many approach him and he would tell them all the same thing to really believe that what you are asking of God will be answered. I will ask for Fr. Solanus intercession for your husband healing.

Oh no! I am so sorry that you’re dealing with this…May God bless you and your husband!

**Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen. **
I join in the prayers of this group and ask Our Lord’s blessings upon the two of you. May All be well Soon.
Maria Rose

Therese and Rodney, the Lord reveals His Divine Goodness as He alone nurtures your faith and provides hope in what has traditionally been a hopeless situation. He joined the two of you into one flesh. He has, and will sustain the One of you in His mercy and grace. Continued prayers, and Christ’s peace.

You and your husband have my prayers. Our Lord will keep both of you strong and your husband will get well.
