Please pray for my husband, Rodney, who has advanced cancer and will be undergoing treatment. Please pray that God will cure Rodney in body, mind and spirit. Please pray that God will not make me a widow. This is so hard for me because my mom died when I was 7 and I remember praying to God not to take her but He did.

Please say a prayer for me, too, because I feel I could not go on living if something were to happen to my husband. He provides for me and takes care of me and does all our shopping because I have an anxiety disorder. I also haven’t worked in over 10 years and I don’t know how I would support myself. I’d rather be poor than to lose my husband.

Beautiful Therese of the Child Jesus and St. Peregrine, patron saint of cancer patients, pray for this woman’s wonderful husband, and ask our Lord Jesus to heal him completely of all his cancer. Give this family a second chance at living a full and happy life together with you in their hearts moreso than ever before.

O God You are the only source of health and healing, the Spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe,Please grant to Rodney such a consciousness of Your indwelling and surrounding presence that he may permit You to give him health and strength and peace,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
To Therese, Remember: the same everlasting Father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations, and say continually: “The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me, and I in Him.”

Lord, look upon Rodney with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon him , may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

O St.Peregrine , you who have been called " The Wonder -Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you ,who for so many years bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being , and who had recourse to The Source of All Grace , when the power of man could do no more : you who were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction , ask of God and Our Lady the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you : Rodney, and all who suffer from cancer .
