O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need, You alone are the Great Healer. We look to You for reassurance and strength. Surround Rodney each day with the presence of Your love and compassion, quiet his spirit So he can know Your goodness and be filled with Your Peace. Please heal Rodney Lord according to your plan for his life.
For Therese, Father, in the anxiety which she now experiences allow her to know your presence, strengthen her faith when she is feeling despair, and give her the assurance of your eternal love for her.
This I pray through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Will all of you please say an extra prayer for us today. We had to put our dog, Jake, to sleep today. He became very ill over the weekend and tests showed a mass on his liver, spleen, and pancreas. I’m having a very hard time with this and am having difficulty breathing so please pray for us. I don’t know what would happen to me if Rodney were to pass away if I’m having this much trouble because of Jake. Thank you for your prayers.

I am so very sorry about Jake, it is so painful and so hard to bear. Lord God in Heaven, help this couple today in their sadness. I pray you will touch their hearts and lives with your mercy to comfort them. Help them know that you are taking care of Jake now.
God of all hope, I pray Rodney will have good news on the 26th, that he will find deliverance from this illness. Encourage his heart.

O God, the strength of the weak and the comfort of sufferers. Mercifully accept our prayers, and grant to Rodney the help of your power, that this sickness may be turned into health, and our sorrow into joy.
